After surgery for a dislocated and badly fractured right ankle which needed a metal implant I had very limited movement in the ankle. I decided to have private physio as soon as possible and started treatment with Carl. Over a period of 4 months Carl tailored the exercises to suit as required and I made really good progress, I am extremely pleased with the service. As a footnote the NHS discharged me two months ago with the promise of physio to follow, I am still waiting to hear.

Excellent !!! After struggling with tendonopathy and bursitis for many months , I finally went to see Carl. Thank goodness I did, as he was brilliant, providing just the right strength building exercises , encouraging me when I felt defeated and , above all , advising me that invasive ( and expensive !) surgery was not necessary - he was 100% right! I’m now well on the road to full recovery. I HIGHLY recommend Carl.

I have just completed a course of physio with Craig regarding a Bursitis in my shoulder. He is extremely kind, understanding and was willing to listen to all my moans and groans!Craig’s knowledge and expertise in diagnosing my problem was excellent. He explained everything clearly in each physio session and it was so helpful to receive follow up exercises on line which helped me continue my rehabilitation.All Covid-19 precautions are undertaken professionally and I felt very safe every visit. Annette is a cheerful, friendly member of the team armed with her temperature monitor as she meets and greets.Thank you Craig for your expertise, kindness and brilliant treatment. You are a Star!I would thoroughly recommend Craig and his team to everyone.

After being comfortable doing 5k runs I started training for my first half marathon on the 3rd January, on the 5th of February I did serious damage to my left meniscus and after a week of not being able to do stairs and then limping for another I had a consultation with Craig on the 19th February. With only six weeks I thought I had no chance, but he worked out a strengthening and running program which I followed and on my second consultation two weeks later he said I would not need any more consultations. I ran the London landmarks half on 3rd April without so much as twinge. I cannot recommend the clinic and Craig highly enough as I came away feeling inspired and really pleased with the whole experience..

I recently saw Carl Green at Colchester Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic for some pain I was having in my back as well as some previous issues with my knee.Carl instantly made me feel relaxed and addressed all my concerns. He was patient listening to my story, and undertook a thorough investigation into the issue. Afterwards he gave me a clear plan to follow and we had a short gap before a follow up appointment to establish my next steps. I am now on my way to fully recovering and am really grateful for his help.He was extremely professional and a joy to work on these issues with. The reception staff were also a real delight and it really made my day on my final appointment when they congratulated me for finishing up my treatment. It's very easy for physios and others in a similar profession to keep you coming back for their own financial gain but here they only had my recovery at the forefront and didn't make me once worry about anything.I can't recommend this physio enough and if I have any issues in the future I'll be going straight back to them and Carl!

I've been very impressed with the care I've received. Very knowledgeable, professional and encouraging.I like the app that gives me reminders to do my physio exercises and I liked that I was checked that I performed them correctly before I left the clinic.The exercises really work, I've been able to strengthen my hip instability, that was causing me knee pain, and get back to running.I also like that Craig tested and recorded the strength of my knee so I could see how that improved.I also visited with an aching hip recently and that is improving with the exercises.Worth every penny.

Can’t speak highly enough of this physiotherapist. Lovely and helpful at reception and could always get my appointments in when I needed.I had Carl as my physiotherapist for a problem with my nerves in my shoulder. He diagnosed the somewhat rare problem and began to work with me to get this cured quicker than our 3 month plan (did it in 2). He is as good as they come and any issues in the future I will be returning without a doubt.

Had a really good recovery program for 2 separate injuries (broken ankle and torn shoulder ligament) from Carl Green the past year. I have minimal issues now and back to normality.Can’t fault the service. Very knowledgeable, and are genuinely there to help instead making you feel like burden unlike some others.Thank you very much.I appreciate all the help. All the best

I have visited Colchester Physio practice several times over the last ten years or so to treat neck, leg, shoulder and foot injuries, and cannot recommend it highly enough. Have seen Carl, in particular, most recently for a plantar fascia tear, which has now almost completely healed. Carl combines professionalism and personability to great effect. A very sharp observer and keen, patient listener, he is able to offer quick diagnoses and suitably tailored exercise ideas for rehabilitation, prevention, and the building of strength, to achieve excellent results. Also able to dispense expert knowledge and answer all sorts of questions in a clear and digestible way. Very highly recommended
