Very disappointed. Only 3 stalls in such a lovely Market place. There was a excellent fruit vegetable and plant stall. Which was well worth the visit. The Community store on the far side of the market is well worth a visit. Lovely committed staff and what Bargains. I have to say I enjoyed my first visit to Gainsborough for quite a few years. Go and support the little shops if you fancy a change in your shopping habits

Market place very poor like a morgue,high rents and rates don't help, trees in planters dying totally wrong thing,no flowers bush's shops and cafe,poor Jubilee show of flags and decorations go 15 to 20 miles to another town totally different,best things the few shops that are open and Tuesdays Market the Spirit of the town should be Market place not Marshall Yard which shows how it could be done,Cinema and shops well that's another story 1 out of 20

What market, 2 or 3 stalls doesn't make a market, it used to be one of the best but lack of input from our local council and moving the town centre shops to Marshalls yard was the death of town centre and market, not worth a visit go to Retford they have fantastic market days

As much it pains for me to say it I believe the market place leaves much to be desired , potentially the inclusion of the new cinema and a face lift on some of the nearby buildings will revitalise this area of the town.
