Walton Bridge Hand Car Wash

Terrible owner! We have been using this car wash for several years and always paid SUV rates (currently £25), now we have a newer, smaller SUV and the owner charged us £30, 4x4 rates. The staff were in agreement with us and other customers also came over to help, but the owner would not change his mind and was in my wife's face about the matter. We have other cheaper car washes closer to us, but used this car wash because the service was always better. The service is terrible and the owner did a terrible job cleaning, he had to reclean twice after we pointed out the same bit he didn't do properly. We won't be returning and I have noticed more and more negative reviews for this place. The owner needs to change his attitude.

Worst car wash around. Took my Porsche here and they put acid all over my wheels. Ended up melting the paint on the wheel caps which cost over £800 to replace. Garage took no responsibility and were not interested.

Can't really complain as it's fast and well priced. But they don't do as a good a job as they used to. The car often needs finishing at home, and the cloth becomes quite dirty which shows there's still quite a lot of dirt on the car. Still the best hand wash in the area.

Went in for standard car wash at £10 which was listed, I.e. legally binding offer and acceptance and they then said prices have gone up and charged £15. You're charging the wrong price illegally because you can't be bothered to change your signs

Very busy, I felt my car had a rushed wash. Water marks and smears left on the vehicle, did not expect to have to return home and correct myself.Some of the prices for a full valet have also gone far too pricey.

Busy as you like so expect a wait. Not the best clean for the money and prices have gone up again now £9 for basic and £20 for special. Probably worth shopping around unless your desperate. New policy if car is way too dirty they will charge extra.

Awful. Avoid if you have a “dirty” car. £10 for wash only, £22 for wash and hoover inside etc. I had the wash and told them to do the inside, but before they started a very arrogant east European man told me it will cost £30 - because the “inside is dirty” ( it was no more dirty than any other car inside). He argued and argued that it would be £30 and not £22, so I paid him £10 and left.

You'll pay for extras like door shuts which won't get done. The quality where it was cleaned properly was good, but there's so much of it that was missed. Spent a half hour detailing my car with wax when I got back. Also had them mocking my car choice loudly and sarcastically which isn't exactly welcoming. I only chose to get it cleaned here because I saw a McLaren once and thought it must be good - I'm certain I was wrong. I tend to get my car cleaned every week, but I won't be returning. It's a shame what a bad first impression can do. (I should add this was a few months ago, but a revision would only be acceptable after a second visit, which is unlikely to happen.)
