Really cool bar with retro arcade games to play! The atmosphere is really chill and the playlist is IMMACULATE. An awesome place to hang out.

Barcadia - Retro Arcade Bar
Cute little bar with plenty of drinks choices! Really not that expensive for tokens either, bought 10 each and it was enough games to have about 2 drinks each. Staff were really friendly also, nice atmosphere and love the thought that went into adding plenty of tables around so you could put your drinks and tokens next to each game while you play. Will be going back soon :)

I love a good arcade bar, and Barcadia is certainly it! Lots of old school machines available to play, with a chill vibe, plus staff is super welcoming and friendly.Plenty of drinks to choose from, with the food being some of my fav, you have to try the vegan ribs, hot dogs and their signature fries! They have dessert fries, which I was bit skeptical of at the first, but I must say, they do really work as a sweet snack!I’m not local, but this is definitely a place I’ll be always visiting when in town ☺️

A great arcade bar full of retro games for you to play whilst you drink, the staff were friendly and welcoming. Good selection of beers and cocktails are available!Some of the games are House of the Dead, PAC-MAN, Burger Time etc.Cool place to hang out and get some high scores.

Barcadia - Retro Arcade Bar
Went yesterday with my husband, staff are all really nice so really good atmosphere. You buy tokens to go on the machines and they’ve got a nice variety of games. Marvel vs Capcom was my personal fave.The cocktails are great, I had an alcoholic slushie and a peach beach. It was boiling outside so the slushie was definitely needed!We ordered some chilli cheese fries, the portions are generous and well worth the money you pay. Really good food, can’t wait to come back!

Great range of drinks available, including IPAs, craft beers & some rather excellent cocktails - I can definitely recommend the frozen strawberry daiquiri! Food is superb and very tasty, the loaded fries are a must! Arcades are a nice mix of classics and modern, and I'd definitely recommend a visit - if I lived closer I'd be visiting weekly! (Prob best for my wallet that I don't!)

I visited on a Friday afternoon and the place was dead - only one other person in there, and he left shortly after I arrived, so the atmosphere was non existent. I bought the loaded fries and they were very expensive for what they were and they arrived cold - I complained to the guy behind the bar but he seemed disinterested and went back to watching videos on his phone.The theming seems to be a few fake plants hanging on the walls and the odd picture such as Robocop on the wall. The machines are quite tatty (particularly Pacman, see the photo) and there seemed to be an awful lot of boxes and other junk left around giving the place an unfinished and tatty feel. Barcadia will have to make significant improvements to ever get me back in the door, because the tokens for the games are also really expensive. And if you're not there to play the arcades then there's not a lot going for it.

Had a really fun evening at Barcadia!Their completely plant-based food menu looks so good it was really hard to pick a dish! 2 of us ended up with fries and the others with Hot Dogs - the normal portions are huge and filling and super delicious! The only downside" about the affordable and generous mains is that there was no space whatsoever left to try their exciting dessert options (sweet fries!).I liked the 2 mocktails I tried and spotted some nice alcohol-free beers in the fridge too - and my friends who had alcohol based cocktails also really enjoyed their drinks.We had fun trying out some old arcade games

Of course, once I saw that arcade bar, I couldn't pass it by. The owners know their stuff: there's Metal Slug, Mortal Kombat 2, Marvel vs Capcom, Daytona USA, good stuff all in all.

This place is a treasure trove of retro arcade games! We bought some loaded pizza fries and a couple of drinks and got some tokens to use against the games. I opted for Space Invaders 2, my husband choose Pacman. Delicious food (entirely plant based with gluten free options). Not far from the train station. Make sure you stop by
