UP-DATE: Dave as I said in my original review did a great job on my summer house… but much to my surprise he did not return shortly afterwards, as he promised, to finish it off…and left the summer house missing the last bits of snagging and the tricky beading needed to make it look nice… I think I have been fair waiting 5 months before posting this follow up review. For me it is doubly disappointing as I liked him and paid him up in full, and even gave him the extra days labour he requested, because I had been so happy with him and his work to that point… I am a fair person so still leaving a good score, but will learn from it and guess I should have held a bit of payment back until job was fully finished… I have done the last bits myself now… such a shame as never want to leave anything even slightly negative, but reviews should be honest, balanced and based on fact, so felt I needed to.Dave is everything you could want in a handyman, Hardworking, skilled, tidy, honest and also friendly and approachable. He built my summerhouse from an existing shell and made it look fab, nothing was too much trouble, and he was a real pleasure to have around. I would highly recommend him to anyone and will certainly use him again for any other jobs I have in the future. Thank you Dave

I have used them many times and very happy with service and quality of work. They are my go to people for things for general repairs and maintenance.They sometimes get busy so better to book in advance. But that is perhaps a reflection of their service because they are popular and in demand.

I lucked out finding the gem that is Dave of DJP! So great to work with - a thoroughly decent, hard-working and honest guy. Friendly, helpful and so knowledgeable. Incredibly high standard of work and I will 100% be using DJP again (Dave knows I'm working on my list!). Thanks Dave, you're a star!

Dave is a true professional, good communication excellent workmanship, friendly and reliable. Hehas put up blinds which needed cutting to size, curtains poles and boarded out a loft area. Very pleased to have found him.

Dave was a recommendation and I am so pleased I decided to go with him. The first job I had was for handyman services. Putting up shelves, pictures and mirrors. He did a fabulous job and was super tidy as well. Dave likes to do a good quality job and he will be really honest with you about anything he cannot do. He even went over and above to help me repair a mirror frame.The second time I had Dave over was to decorate an old Victorian hallway with more wood than a timber yard. Dave sanded everything down and hoovered as he went a long. He has done a professional job and touched up areas he wasn't fully satisfied with. His pricing is fair and I have never felt like I am being ripped off. In fact, Dave did a bit extra and put up a smoke alarm for me whilst he was here. He has event provided recommendations for other suppliers which have proven to be cheaper and better quality than places like B&Q.The only problem you will have with Dave is pinning him down! He is busy busy busy so you might have to wait, but he is worth the wait.

My friend needed help with lots of small repairs around the house. Lack of skill and necessary tools meant we couldn't do it ourselves.DJP responded promptly with quote and a date to do the work.All the repairs were sorted out quickly and efficiently.I would definitely reccomend DJP and without a doubt would use them again.

DJP recently assisted me with a refurb to a rental property. I couldn’t have done this without Dave! If he couldn’t fix a problem, he knew a man who could.The team were reliable and trustworthy and the transformation was impressive!I would highly recommend
