I used to go here once or twice a week with colleagues as I work nearby. Unfortunately their prices have risen by 30%!!!!! since Xmas. My colleagues and I tend to go elsewhere most of the time now as it is no longer the good deal it was and it now competing with more premium food places. Decent greasy spoon place but no longer well priced.

Only surviving cafe in this area to get a proper English breakfast. Food is good, and I love the atmosphere. Feels like you're in an Eastend soap. Ok, the old lady waitress is bit grumpy sometimes, but I didn't mind her. Took as part of the atmosphere, and respect the fact that they're keeping her for the job.For the negative comment I saw above, 'Not really English, is it.' This is a multicultural town, and I admire them for embracing the local culture and running it while everything local are disappearing.If you're a tourist in a neighbouring hotel, and looking heavy English breakfast I would definitely recommend it. The below meal with the tea costed me £5.60, and I wouldn't be needing food least for another 8 hours.

An unassuming place that offers delicious English breakfast, fish and chips and omlettes at very competitive prices. Moreover, the place has the warmth of a small town cafe.

Been going here for over a decade. Service is 10/10, always so welcoming. The portion size to quality to price ratio is also a 10/10. Never unsatisfied with my meal or my experience here.

A good hearty English breakfast at the break of dawn.For £6.90 , got a nice breakfast spread (Set 4) ( from which I loved the well done black pudding ), toast and coffee. The turkish servers communicated and treated well.It's a nice cosy location which smells even better when the griddle is in use.
