Good car park which is remote and free. Only a 15minute scenic walk through the woods to the cafe. Good area for walking and cycling. Lots of forest trails and wildlife.

Good place to park if you want to walk around Roadford without paying for the main car park by the cafe. You can do a number of circular walks on footpaths which are reasonable in any weather. Some of the forest paths are wetter than others, good place to exercise well behaved dogs, don’t forget to pick up after them! You can go a woodland route (over the road from the car park) or turn right out of the car park and head down towards the water. Suitable for a pram or pushchair as well.You can then pick different places to loop round depending on how energetic you are feeling!
