If I could give more than 5 stars I would!On both a business and personal level all the cakes that Kate has done have been exceptional with nothing but amazing praise - always.Kate does all the baking such as scones, brownies, mini cakes and more for my Buffet food business. She is always my go to for any personal occasion cakes too, birthdays etc.Kate's attention to detail and love of what she does is why her cakes are so incredible, she loves trying out new flavours and concepts too.She makes the most amazing brownies which are my absolute favourite!!Thank you Kate, you are always my star baker!

Kate made us such a beautiful celebration cake. We wanted it for an intimate wedding get together and it exceeded all expectations. Not only did it taste great, it looked absolutely stunning. My now wife and I, wanted the cake to be decorated with flowers that reflected walking through a meadow. Not only did the decoration reflect this but they were also edible flowers.I can hands on heart say that Kate was attentive, engaged and I really think that she works from the heart. Her main goal is to ensure that she has captured your needs and to make that special cake for you. I wholeheartedly recommend Kate. From start to finish I felt very taken care of and it was all in ease. Thanks so much for adding something so special to our celebratory day Kate. On the Sunday before our daughter's wedding on the Monday, we had a little bit of a cake crisis. A few messages to Kate established she was happy and able to help and, amazingly, the very next morning we picked up the most beautiful and perfect flower and butterfly decorated cup-cakes. They were stunning, super tasty and everyone remarked on how lovely they were.Of course we would recommend giving Kate more than 24 hours notice when booking a cake, but the fact she was so willing to help on a Sunday and then produce such wonderful cakes is a real tribute to both her kindness and her baking talent.We would absolutely recommend Kate for any cake needs you might have.Thank you Kate,Paul and Maria

My wife and I recently celebrated our Golden Wedding anniversary and Kate was the only person we wanted to bake our special cake.We have had Kates Kakes baked before and once again the cake not only looked amazing but tasted superb. We can highly recommend Kates amazing creations.

As always a fantastic cake made by Kate. I had this lovely cake made for my mother-in-laws 70th birthday. Which was lemon and elderflower flavour sponge with buttercream, pressed flowers. And gluten free cupcakes made for my niece decorated with crystallised flowers.

Kate made a cake for my mum's 70th birthday - it was stunning.From my initial enquiry onwards, Kate provided prompt responses with advice and suggestions which helped narrow down a broad theme for the cake design, including flavours.Although I had sent Kate some pictures of cakes that appealed to me from her social media posts, I did not want to impose a particular design, preferring to let her interpret the design brief as she saw fit. It would also have been impossible to pick 'favourites' from her beautiful past creations.Upon collection Kate provided advice about storage and how to best serve the cake for the best 'eating' experience. We were travelling for a couple of hours and the cake storage box perfectly protected the cake until we presented it.The cake was a visual delight, with flavour and baking quality to match. It was so appreciated by my mum and admired by all present.Thank you for helping us to celebrate her birthday in style.

Wonderful baker. Kate recently created a beautiful 21st birthday cake for my boyfriend. The flavour and presentation was outstanding. She is so attentive to clients' needs and always prioritises the customer's wishes. Thank you again!

A while ago, I ordered four boxes of cake pop truffles to be delivered to friends as an end of term treat. It is safe to say that they were over the moon with their yummy selection. The cake pops arrived safely, in a timely manner and were totally delicious, as well as Kate herself being incredibly lovely! I would 100% recommend Kate's Kakes to a friend and will be ordering from Kate again very soon.
