Best Western Garfield House Hotel

Business trip here, although some of the furniture is a little tired, the people and the welcome couldn't have been better. The best example of great service I have experienced in a long time. Thank you.

Had an overnight in the hotel, there was a function on underneath our room, which was very loud, did get moved to an other room, which was better till the function finished and the people from the function started fighting and shouting that went on till 6.30 in the morning when I was going to work.So sorry I could not recommend the hotel based on my experience.

Stayed at the Garfield when we had a wedding in Glasgow city centre this weekend.It's a great location, about 5 miles and 10-15 minutes into the city centre.Lots of on site parking, spacious rooms and friendly staff.Also a popular wedding and reception venue in it's own right.

We had 2 rooms booked and had a very comfortable 2 night stay here.First impressions very good - attractive building and reception area, friendly staff.Fantastic breakfast, freshly cooked and piping hot with an excellent choice including poached eggs and avocado which you wouldn’t get on a buffet. Even having freshly made toast served is a luxury these days instead of the woeful DIY toasters in most hotels. Again really friendly and efficient staff.All the usual cereals and pastries too.Room 34 was spacious and reasonably priced. Room 37 was an executive double though slightly smaller than 34. The executive label gave additional freebies such as water but we were very happy with the slightly cheaper 34.The location was 5 star for us as we were attending a family celebration nearby.

Nice hotel, rooms dated, small twin beds. But clean tidy and functional.Service great and good in restaurant very good.On site parking.

Staying here at the moment, friendly welcome and room was nice and clean, good size and warm.Ordered room service which was horrendous! £31 for a steak as tough as boots, asked to substitute the fries for veg which never came so had to order a side salad, £4 extra.JOKE! Half the steak was fat and gristle!

Hello. On the 9 September, we stayed at your hotel in room 42. When we checked out of the room, I forgot expensive shoes. When we called the reception today, they said they couldn't find them, but we are absolutely sure we left them there. I suspect that perhaps the person who cleaned room 42 on the morning of the 10th September may have taken them, or it could have been someone at the reception who claimed they couldn't find them. Please maybe you can help me find solution ?!!!

Great value for money. Staff were very friendly and professional. Great food. Rooms were clean and spacious. Would be happy to stay again.
