Kings Theatre
The show we saw was great and we had a good view from our seats. The theatre is beautiful to visit and fair value.The staff behind the bar were incredibly stressed with the crowds of people and at points were quite blunt. But the show was so good we didn't let it affect our experience.

The Kings Theatre is a beautiful building and a great place to watch a performance. Staff are helpful, friendly and available (you never struggle to find someone) and the drinks and snacks in my opinion are reasonably priced, so you can enjoy a tipple without asking your bank managers permission. All In all, I really enjoyed my visit and hope to return again soon.As an aside, you should be warned that parking anywhere in Portsmouth is a nightmare. There is a park and ride but I don't know if it goes anywhere near the theater.

Nice theatre. Fairly small, but that's not a bad thing and I don't think there's a bad seat in the whole place. When we arrived they had side doors open as well, meaning there was no big queue to get in and ticket checking was very quick and simple. Getting out was fairly quick as well. Only real issue is parking - it's in the middle of Portsmouth and the nearest car park is a 10 minute walk. Not too bad, but glad it wasn't raining.

Great local theatre that gets a mix of bigger shows and smaller theatre groups. Good value tickets. Seats are very small and leg room is very limited so be mindful of where you sit or book if you're larger build and or tall. This can't be helped it's the joy of old theatres like in the West End.

Beautiful Edwardian Theatre with stunning original features. Foyer is beautiful when you look up....sculptures of angels, swags of delicate fabric, and paintings of roses. An abundance of a bygone era throughout.

Lovely old theatre. The bars are small and have limited but good selection. If you are in the circle, entrance is at the side so you miss out on the atmosphere of the main entrance and any merchandise stalls. It is not obvious how to get down to the main entrance foyer from the circle

Kings Theatre
Saw the Bowie Experience here and it was one of the best shows ive seen. Im about 6ft 2 and had plenty of room in the seats. Not the most expensive place either. Ushers were friendly. Great to see a show in such a historic place.

Very nice beautifully decorated theatre. Good seating. Excellent bar. Nearest big car park is waitrose, 10 minutes walk.
