ScS - Sofas, Flooring & Furniture

Disgusting. Bought an extended 3 year warranty on a leather 3 piece suit. After 5 months, the edge of the cushion flattened. I was told not to sit on that area. They refused to fix the issue. The suite cost over £3k. I will never buy from these people again.Listen to my warning.

After almost 7 weeks I'm still waiting for a 2x2 metre piece of vinyl flooring. I have sent numerous e mails and messages to this company. I do admit they did ring me on Wednesday but it was on my mobile and by the time I got to answer they rang off. They havent tried to ring me since. I am absolutely fuming about this. I think the customer service is terrible. I know these are exceptional times but after this length of time I would have expected to have my delivery I was promised it on July 21st along with a carpet i had boughtFinally got it on 14/08/20. But I was made to pay £30 delivery charge. If it had been delivered when it was supposed to be on 21/07/20 I would not have had this to pay. I think i have been treated very badly. Will never go back to this company

I tried to purchase online and booked a call back to complete the purchase. What a load of rubbish. Requested a call back straight away, even got the email to confirm purchase pending the call back. Waited all day for the call back and ended up giving up waiting. The next day, after still waiting for my immediate call back, I gave up and I ended up making the 22 mile round trip to the nearest store instead as I really wanted the sofa. I was disappointed that they were insistant that after spending nearly £1700, I still had to pay £69 delivery but the Lady in the store was more than helpful and processed my sale in half an hour instead of waiting 2 days for a non existant call back to complete the purchase. I did hear male staff in the store arguing quite loudly with someone wanting cash back and there was a lot of bad language used by both parties. Not very professional but the Lady serving me was fantastic and not too pushy trying to sell me extras.

Absolutely horrific customer service from this company. Truly shocking. We bought a pair of their special offer" Tamla lay-zee-boy sofas back in may. We were told our expected delivery date would be 9th july. They would contact us as soon as they arrived to arrange delivery to us .So we waited.I called them on 7th july to see how things were going and if everything was still on for the 9th .They told me that no

Just one of those places you’d really rather not go, pushy salesman straight away just puts you off.Only interested in getting the sales, no idea of how to engage with a customer and connect with them or really find out what it was I was after. I had seen an advert on the telle about jubilee offers, so I asked about them and he just said nah you don’t want them they’re awful quality, you get what you paid for..At one point he offered a carpet with glitter in?! Another example of how had the service was as he didn’t have any idea what my taste was.Then offered me discount when I was about to walk out. Nah, stick to franks where they have clear, transparent prices and salesman who want to do what’s right.

Extremely good customer service from Jo at the Durham branch.Jo helped us choose our sofa, let us have a look around at other sofas in our own time, in case we saw something else we might like more. Fully explained insurance cover and finance options. Helped us choose a colour and set up for our corner sofa. No pressure selling and a really lovely lady. Felt totally at ease. Coffee was a really nice touch. Just waiting for sofa to arrive but we can't wait.

Products are well presented and staff were helpful. The trip would have been more relaxing and I'd have felt more comfortable looking at the sofas if there weren't as many staff members. Makes it feel a bit rushed if you aren't 100% sure what you're going to buy beforehand.

Both myself and my boyfriend were really happy with the service provided with ScS, the bloke who helped us in store was great, he was really casual and chatty which goes such a long way these days, really you just want to have an honest chat with someone who knows what they are talking about and not feel like you are being pushed into a sale.We ordered our 3 seater sofa and were told it'd arrive in roughly 6 weeks but potentially earlier, i think we waited just over 3 weeks.Immaculate sofa, was extremely happy with it and still am after having a few nights chilling out on it!Fab service from start to finish, really reasonable price for a very good quality sofa which will last. No pushy sales at all. Would probably only go to ScS now.The delivery blokes were also lovely too and did a fab job at getting the sofa through our very awkward porch!Thanks so much ScS Durham for being great!

I've just purchased a lazyboy 3+2 from durham branch and must say the manager (forgot his name ) was brilliant , no hassle or following me around rushing me explained different prices , colours etc had good friendly conversation , I would definitely go back , thank you manager.

It does what it says on the door, but expensive unless the sofa you want is on sale. Everything else is inflated prices to keep the overall margins for the company.
