Bootle Arms
Decided to have Sunday roast here with my family. The roasts were spectacular. I ordered extra beef on mine, the portion size was great. We wer all stuffed. The staff were fantastic. Attentiveness was perfect. Will be back again 100%

Staff were very nice. However I am of the opinion that our meals were ready to eat at the same time as our starters arrived (so were probably placed under the lights) as we took our time eating our starters, talking etc. As soon as our starter plates were cleared our main food arrived. Three were warm, but one was very cold and sent back. The three of us got on with eating our warm food, whils our fourth member just watched. When his replacement meal arrived, we realised just how bad ours had been as it was excellent (as we all ate some of it). The steaks were of poor quality, very fatty and grizzly.All in all it was not an experience I will repeat again.

booked a party for 21 people that we had last night. Party was originally for 10 but they allowed us to add the rest no problem.We booked the festive menu which was prebooked. It was served promptly and everyone got what they ordered. Great service as always. Thanks so much

What a lovely discovery this pub is!! I loved the decor so much and the William Morris wallpaper all around! I bet the place looks so cosy around Christmas time.Food was very good and it was nicely washed down with a refreshing beer. Staff were great. Special mention to Jack whose service was impeccable, such a professional and incredibly polite waiter. We will definitely visit soon. Thank you

Lovely staff and food. Been here many times and never been disappointed. I love the dog friendly ethos. The only tiny thing is because its so big sometimes it can be a bit cold without the heating on but that on its own wouldn't put me off. I'm already looking forward to our next visit.

The 3 of us went there yesterday. Really lovely atmosphere. The music wasn't too loud and the prices were amazing! We paid £80 for 3 of us to have 2 meals and a side each. Very good!The staff were really nice. There was a minor error on the order and they sorted it out very quickly. Overall, very happy indeed!

We were a party of 5 , two of the party are vegan & vegetarian. Staff helped out ordering for both our granddaughters tastes also chef came out of kitchen to tell them the mayonnaise was vegan not to be mixed with ours which was not vegan. Such care was taken by our waitress and the food was delicious, we had a very varied menu from steaks to vegan.All was delicious.Thank You to all the staff for making us very welcome our family live in Mallorca and they were so impressed with the service and food choices.

Food was good. Pub is very big and was a bit cold but to be fair they hadn't been open long when we went. Staff are friendly and helpful

Great food as usual with very helpful staff and decently quick service. Ate out here more times than I could recall in the past years.Great atmosphere and have never felt disappointed.
