Just saw these guys on Rip off Britain. I still remember this chap yelling at my mum over a lost dry cleaning ticket years ago. Looks like he annoyed somone with cyberskills.

On one occasion I dismantled a lock which had no keys at all and rather than purchasing a new one I brought it over to them and they found a correct key within literally a minute.Today got a key cut for another door and the gentleman was really professional.Competitive prices and friendly service, too.Support your local businesses / your own high street rather than the big sharks.Thank you.

the staff are lovely absolutely amazing and the key i got worked and i got it very fast. greatest key place ever and i would highly recommend going here just because of how fast and how well they do things.

Really really nice guys working here and very skilled key cutters. Super quick and super helpful. I've been going to this place for years. Last week I got 6 keys cut for £32 and they put little rubber caps on them. They also do a load of other stuff such as engravings etc.

Quick service took me about 8mins to get in and out with a new set of keys. I got 3 new copies for about £22

Went in a Saturday afternoon some time ago for a small repair on my pair of boots - they wouldn't even look at them, just interrupted me mid-sentence with SORRY WE CAN'T HELP!"

Really helpful staff. I'd been sent by a jeweler to them to help with an engraving and they were brilliant. Very speedy too.

I left my favorite watch to replace the battery in this place, after getting it back, I noticed it was like steam and a tiny drop of water inside. the watch is water resistant and I used it as usual, didt take shower with it I went back there, they refused to help me, but finally agreed to fix it. They just keep sayng it's not waterproof and I pour water on it! after a one day they gave me a watch back that doesn't work at all and gave me refund just for batteries £7 . I left them a good watch and they returned the broken one to me. I cant belive so everyone be carefull.

A local jeweller recommended this place for leather watch straps that require a notch for the hinge to articulate. You need a tool and skill to do this. I’ve been there twice in 10 years as the straps wear out and the owner is so obliging for such a small job from his point of view. Two days ago the same watch stopped working for half an hour so I thought the battery needed replacement and as it’s a designer watch that Timpsons charge £25 plus for I asked John Courtney for a quote. £9.95 but when he had a look he found all it needed was a clean and wouldn’t charge me. Such honesty is refreshing today. I had seen the Rip Off Britain programme where scammers had cloned their phone and contact details so I’m so glad to see that the BBC got this sorted with Google and they are still in business serving the local community with such great support. I’ve had heels repaired here too in half an hour. Many thanks guys.
