Boots

No customer service offered! I picked an item from the shelf, wanted advice on another product. Told to simply go to a different area of the store to pay at the self service tills. No option. Only seem interested in taking money. I did not purchase the item and won't return.

i went into the store to just look around and Goldie, who was working in the perfume area, told me to smell this perfume (irresistible by Givenchy) and she said she saw me and knew i’d love it. and i did, and instead of just letting me buy it full price she asked if i was a student and explained how it would be so much cheaper if i used student discount and a boots card. usually staff wouldn't tell me about this discount and make me pay full price. she was so good and amazing and she’s the only staff member who has convinced me to get a boots card. She also gave me and my boyfriend some free samples of other perfumes she thinks we’d like. She is amazing at her job and I would go all over again to experience her bubbly personality, she really has a way of knowing exactly what customers want.

Disgusting behaviour of the staff and the manager.The shop is supposed to be close at 8pm which means the customers are allowed to shop by 8pm.Today I went to boots at 7:53pm, the moment I entered the shop, the security said the store has been closed now. I pleased them to get inside by saying I know what I need to by and what shade it is.All the staff said no even the manager said you can’t buy now.But then they ALLOWED me to get inside and buy it soon. They should be welcoming and should be thankful that the customer is coming to their store in spite of going to other stores. That too when the customer came before the closing time.By this time I had like 6 mins to take what I want. One of the staff member followed me on my head. Seeing what I needed to buy and was like take it and I said I’m confused in 2 colours and I need to try them. She said you knew what you want to buy right.But that’s not the way of treating the customer. They should be treated properly and give them few moments to decide. That too when I still had time before the closing.I picked up a shade in hurry because she was on my HEAD.When I went to the till, the girl asked for advantage card because I wanted student discount. I apparently didn’t had it, but instead of solving the problem, they were just on HEAD to close the store soon.All this happened in just a fraction of few mins.I left the store in like not even 4 mins. And they closed the shutters.Basically the store closed before 8. The staff was in hurry to go back home. And because of this they were extremely rude to me.

I came in with a makeup inquiry the other day and one of the girls named Rowada (?) really helped me with finding the products that I was looking for, she was really sweet and professional in finding what works for me. She really took her time in finding the makeup I wanted and even gave suggestions as to what would suit me the best. I walked out feeling confident in what I had bought all thanks to her. Thank you so much!

I have been to this Boots many times, and I am usually very disappointed by the stock levels and in particular the amount of tester products available. Usually when I go to the makeup stands, I cannot try the products I want to as there are no testers available, and there are also only a few products available to buy. Often a few shelves are fully empty.The queue time is also often very long, and there are often not many staff on the till, considering it is a busy shop. I have actually known the queue to get very long, but there still be no staff at all at the till point. (See photo for part of a queue on such an occasion).It may seem strange that this largely negative review is attached to a 3-star review, however I must give credit to the lovely team members at the store, to the pharmacy staff for always being so helpful, for the well stocked pharmacy shelves and to the people who have given me vaccinations at the store in the past. I just want to raise the two big issues I have with the store, as they so often frustrate me!

I go there to buy my toiletries and Aftershave! They have a Great selection in the Bull ring, there's an assistant called Goldie! Go to her as her knowledge of Aftershaves & perfumes are Excellent and tells you off All the Good deals & is Very Polite and Witty! It is Situated well near other shops and the other end right outside Grand Central train station! Definitely worth a look & visit!!

There was no staff to help us, summer day I. August it was way too hot in the store the air conditioning wasn’t on. The que for the tills where massive and only one staff member on. There was another person but kept going to get something that wasn’t to do with any customer. Rubbish all over the floor very disappointing no wonder they going down.

Sadly the High Street branch of Boots didn't have what I wanted but the very helpful assistant suggested that I try the branch in the Bull Ring.What a difference!!I asked for the item and the assistant pointed to something on the wall and said it" was on the shelves below that. Not exactly service is it?The sad experience was saved by the lovely young woman on the No7 counter
