victoria sponge , hardly any jam in and i dont know what the rest of the filling was but it wasnt butter cream. im sure the birds will enjoy the rest of it

The traditional mince pies are dreadful. The packet description is ‘delicious mincemeat filling’, which is completely misleading, 5 dry sultanas and a brown mark on the very, very thick pastry does not constitute a ‘delicious mincemeat filling’. It’s a shame I can’t post a picture on here to show you how terrible they are. Don’t buy the mince pies!!

My favourite cakes. Not too sweet, taste deliciously homemade, and light and airy. I wish they were easier to get find in shops though! Chocolate loaf and chocolate Demi cake are my favourites.

I thought the carrot cake was great. Moist wholesome heavy , nice icing , felt like it was made with love , cant understand the bad reviews , it’s one of the best mass produced cakes I ve ever eaten!

Very disappointed with the carrot cake loaf I purchased from Co-op in Burford as a treat for my daughter and family today. The whole family tried a slice. It was dry and unappetising. It wasn't cheap either. Will not be trying any more of this brand based on our experience today. The best before date was in September 2022, so it had several weeks to go of supposed freshness.

I'll start by saying I hate writing bad reviews! I purchased a cake from this Baker at a garden centre and I must say I was wholly disappointed. I'm all for supporting businesses but the chocolate cake was about £7 and when I had a slice this evening, it was dry and lacked flavour. I would expect better for the price I paid.

I am nearly at the end of another Fatherson delicious cake. Even though I am loosing weight for health's sake, the Carrot Cake has become my treat for all the hard work I do shedding the pounds, other cakes available in the range. Once tasted, you'll know where I'm coming from. Yum yum!

Carrot cake is really not very nice & tastes nothing like a carrot cake should, the inclusion of sultanas is very odd? Icing tasted very chemical/artificial. Well over £4 for a small one, won’t be buying again!

I purchased my vanilla & jam sponge from the co-op. Lovely & moist. Shared it with my partner. Very enjoyable. Beautifully decorated. Will buy again.
