Hygge Bikes

Delivery took one day and communication has been excellent. We have had our bikes (a Vester Lite and a Vester Pro) for around 6 months and have covered a fair few miles, varied terrain and plenty of hills! These bikes have allowed us to get back in the saddle at 70 years of age in an area full of hills!Assembly consisted of just opening the box, unfolding the bike and adjusting the handlebars and seats.These are weighty machines. They are not commuter bikes but we’ve put them in the back of our car and taken them on weekends away.Five levels of assist make even the steepest hill achievable and battery life is excellent despite the amount of weight that one of them has to carry!Make no mistake, you still get exercise as the assist motor cuts out when you stop pedalling. I tend to switch assist off for most flat runs (wind direction dependent!). The fat wheels are really confidence-inspiring off road (yes, we go off road!).We’ve had loads of complimentary comments - particularly from youngsters! Fair play; they do look cool.And the build quality is good. You feel like you’re on a substantial machine yet they are so easy to pedal with no assist.Communication and after sales service are both excellent - you feel like you’re joining a club rather than just buying a bike.Would I recommend Hygge? Yep! If you’re thinking about it, do it!

customer service went above and beyond.i bought a set of panniers. they were delivered within 3 days with no delivery charge. i was that impressed i bought a replacement front light as i had broken mine. this again was delivered with no delivery charge within 3 days. the customer service go above and beyond all expectations. would certainly recommend hygge bikes to all that want a folding e-bike.

Burhan and Andrea have gone over and beyond expectation on how they managed my purchase. I purchased my bike through the cycle to work scheme and they have guided me, provided me, and followed up my order all the way through. From the first email, it already made me feel at ease transacting with them.Recently, i have also been in a predicament, and I called them straight away, and they provided me excellent service.Definitely, will recommend them to everyone who is looking for an e-bike. I Purchased a Hygge Vester Foldable E-Bike – Black.So far the best bike i have ever purchased. Everything is like perfection. When i received the bike small amount of adjustments was needed. Which is recommended anyway by Hygge. Now everything is up and running i have so far done around 70 Miles with no problems. I purchased the bike through cycle Scheme. The process was fantastic i was helped by Burhan. i cheekily sent him a discount code and asked for extra items. He was unable to accept the discount as cycle scheme doesn't allow this. But he gave me the items i wanted anyway. I was then passed over to Andrea who arrange my delivery for my bike. Andrea sent me instructions and links for you tube videos without me asking so i could get a head start on what to expect before bike arrived. The bike arrived within a few days by courier and the courier service was very good and there was no damages. Overall i am very happy and would recommend a Hygiene Bike.

Ordered a Vester and a Vester Step duo deal for my brother and myself, received them after 3 days;fast delivery. Communication was also great from Hygge.Went on our first ride this weekend and had a blast and got quite a few compliments. Would highly recommend! five stars from us!

Love my Hygge bike. Only downside is it's very heavy. You will struggle to carry it upstairs or on public transport when folded, assume you won't be able to do that.The lock they sell (sometimes give away) also isn't a Sold secure" one so often isn't compatible with insurance policies. Save your money and buy a sold secure one. The chain comes dry as a bone and they don't supply lube so you have to go out and buy some too.The battery and tyres are decent. Only one set of gears but with the pedal assist it doesn't really matter."

Bought my bike online ,I'm 70 and wanted to go in the woods with my grandkids. Not having ridden a bike for 40 years ,I chose the hygee and was very impressed on my first outing I had no problem keeping up infact they ended up struggling to keep up with me. It's opened up a new experience for me ,Although fairly heavy , folded down it is easy enough to lift in and out of my car.Very impressed

I was impressed by the Manager of the London branch of Hygge bikes. I had an issue which he dealt with both in a professional manner and most speedily. Our agreed arrangement meant I got back on the road and we resolved a battery issue quickly and fairly to both sides. I can only say my experience has been excellent and I highly reccomend Hygge Bikes London for their fair and professional service. I have a Hygge Vester Lite which is ideal as I have a road bike for some trips and the Vester for a more relaxing experience and where I live in West Sussex, a great way to enjoy the rural delights of summer currently. I don't normally fold it, but that is a nice feature if I wish to take it in the boot of my car on occasions. A nice little package.

I was really impressed both with the service and the quality of my Hygge bike. The customer service was really helpful and they answered all my questions and quickly. The bike was delivered when they said, really well wrapped and protected and I just love the bike. Every time I go out on it I get people commenting on it and saying that it must have cost a fortune.
