Excellent service from Gerry, plus the Vauxhall Crossland X is a great ’little’ car - comfy, economical and one of the few cars I’ve driven that doesn’t give me jip from old injuries. Highly Recommended

I found the customer service at Practical very welcoming and effort was made so that my bookings were tailored specifically for my needs. I made two bookings within a month and each one was effortless. A minor issue was dealt with very well so as I wasn't inconvenienced. I would highly recommend Practical in Lewes, and in particular Gerry, who dealt with my hire on both occasions.

The vehicle performed perfectly on a 1400 mile round trip. Fuel consumption good, excellent vision for driving.The paperwork was efficiently done, and Gerry who runs the business,went out of his way to make the process easy.I would recommend this business over others I have used.I rented the van for a week to go to Provence to bring back some furniture after a house sale.Practical Van Hire made a potentially stressful situation flow smoothly because of the efficiency and comfort of the vehicle.

Gerry was a life saver. Every other van provider was booked up. Gerry's new Practical franchise is the new kid on the block. He could not have been more helpful, especially as it was a one day hire on a Saturday. He was there at pick up and drop off. Also, an incredible price, so that helped too!

Fantastic company! Gerry is a top guy and most importantly a fair guy.The vans have a full tank of fuel at the point of collection, so once you’ve finished you fill the van back up that way you only pay for fuel you’ve used.I would definitely recommend and if it wasn’t for the fact that I’m moving away, I would most certainly use this company again and again.

Hired a van at the weekend was very pleased with the whole service and vehicle. Gerry was great he makes you feel welcome and relaxed he was very clear and concise with information and going throu all the paperwork with me. I needed to add and extra a day and he was very flexible supporting me with my needs.
