Affordable Flooring Shoreham

Wow just had my new floor laid by @affordableflooring and it looks amazing! So happy with everything!! The price, product quality, customer service, not forgetting the lovely guy (Sean or Shaun) who fitted the floor.If I was looking purely at cost I could have gone to B+Q but honestly you get what you pay for. The whole process from original estimate to final product was on a different level to anything I have experienced before.

Affordable Flooring Shoreham were helpful and kind. I had one room of carpet laid with them and they were accommodating to get it in the diary swiftly which I was happy about. On the day, the fitters were late arriving from a previous job, which wasn't too much of a trouble but I felt this then leant itself to a slightly rushed job and found quite a few scuffs on the newly decorated room afterwards.I made AFS aware of this for the next room to be done and I booked them again, as I liked the carpet and wanted it to match the adjacent room. I asked to have an earlier slot next time, so I wasn't the last job of the day. They again were super helpful in measuring up and quoting and booking it in, but on the day it was all a bit of a flurry, they were not late this time but instead were overrunning from a previous job so sent ahead someone to lay the gripper rods and underlay and then that person waited around for about an hour. I was under the impression they did all they could to make it work as the guys who measured up came into the mix to come and fit the carpet, because the other job wasn't going as expected, so I was happy that they were making things happen. The next day on inspection I noticed again many scuffs around my skirting board that I had only just painted and this was a shame after mentioning it from the last time.I emailed them to let them know and they offered to come over to rectify things but by that point I had already put the furniture back and will get round to painting it again later.I am now going to try another local fitter for the remaining rooms, as whilst they were friendly and accommodating, it was a shame to have two similar experiences.I feel this is a fair assessment and the 3 stars reflects my experience.
