The security guards that have recently been employed are tyrants, following you about and always looking over your shoulder when scanning items at the checkout. Guilty until proven innocent- they make me not want to shop here.Tbh It’s a horrible atmosphere in general, staff are constantly replenning, it’s like a bomb site most of the time, with stock strewn everywhere. Avoid if possible.

Absolutely disgusting experience!! Just witnessed an appalling episode in this co.op store this evening. A father with his 13yr old daughter went to buy some beers and they would NOT serve him because his daughter was with him and she didn't have ID.... Never heard anything so stupid. He was buying the the beer and he was paying for it. So Where's the problem here exactly! You telling me in St Leonards leaving your kids outside on the street alone is what's expected.

Dodgy evening staff. Payed card for Gas £60 pounds worth and the till crashed apparently and they can't issue me with receipt of proof. . But yet able to purchase on another till some products... would avoid going Into the shop whilst the manager evening shift wears glasses and I think is called jack. Very rude towards myself on the evening and tried denying I wasn't in at that time. He also took his time to come out with tablet showing transactions and wouldn't show me fully from 6pm onwards and wouldn't show me if my other transactions was on it as well for 13 pounds...Will be complaining to Co op group for the employees of the evening well badly managed.

Re-edit of my review. Blondie- I mean goergie performance has been slacking ever since his wife-I mean girlfriend- whoops I mean Lucy has left and now is acting too blonde. What a letdown. Pinky is now the best performing staff there despite being new. GO PINKY!!!!!! P.s. can customers give him hugs and pats, he especially likes his grease ball head being touched

Not very well stocked considering the size of the shop.Expensive (just as an example it was £6.80 for a basic oven pizza)....Only two cash tills...actually even though there were two people behind the counter only one till was open.To finish off I had to remind the cashier that the two packets of rice i bought were on offer for £2 and not the £2.80 they tried charging me.

0 stars is too many. I went in with my daughter who is in her young teens. They would not serve me alcohol as my daughter did not have ID. The card was mine and I was paying. The staff are complete idiots and thats being polite. Since when has a man in his 40s not been able to buy beer when he has his kids with him.

Security guard continues to follow and harass shoppers trying to pay but let’s shop lifters walk out. Really weird behaviour and it’s making customers go elsewhere. Been my local shop for 10 years but I’ll no longer go there because it’s embarrassing.
