Millhouses Park Cafe
A lovely little park cafe. Wide variety of food and drinks (caters to all needs). Seating both inside and out. Friendly staff who seem to work quickly and efficiently. A peaceful place to bring friends and family. Prices are reasonable but never extortionate.

Millhouses Park Cafe
Such a wonderful atmosphere here at the cafe! Every single member off staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend this cafe to many people. Food is delicious, with many variations of hot & cold choices.New additions I like that they have added is the baby facilities that they have included inside their toilets which just used to be for “workers only”. This is very handy as I know many mums will be pleased that there is a nice area to check upon their own children like myself.

I don't like leaving negative reviews, but this is not the first time that sub standard food has been served at this cafe. At our last visit we got baked potatoes that were freezing cold inside. The cheese wasn't melted and it just seemed that the dish had been left in a fridge pre-prepared and served without care. We had orange juice that had gone off too. To be fair, the staff were friendly and exchanged it right away. But the service was so slow. Easily waited 45 min for simple food. Could be better a lot better!

Visited this place recently after some time. It was a warm day, and I thought it would be nice to visit with family. The food used to be really good here, but I didn't have the appetite at the time, so I just ordered a coffee for myself, 2 milkshakes for the grandchildren, and just water for my son. I can't comment on the milkshakes. They looked nice, and the kids had most of them. However, the coffee tasted like brown coloured water, absolutely zero taste. I've had better instant coffee at home. How this could even be considered coffee is a mystery to me. Would be better if they just made instant instead of serving tasteless brown water and calling it 'Americano ' ....

Ordered cappuccino and completely regretted it. It was not even hot half a cup and tasteless. I would have made at home instant one would be better, waste of money not going back again.

Average caf. Staff seems a little run off their feet on a Sunday. Keen and eager to clear plates away. Not really looking at the mess on the floor that customers trample on repeatedly. Food average. Toilets clean. Adult portions are ok. Kids portions a little pathetic and not as healthy as should be- frozen oven food/ tinned beans. Could do better.

Not very pleasant when asking for alternative food. Look at you like your asking for the world.This cafe will not do most things asked, which is a shame. I have been coming here for quite some time due to it being more convenient when walking my dog. I have recently found a better place on the main road which is fabulous in every way. Food is not good quality for what you pay, only certain items are nice but very pricey .I only asked for an egg not fried and similar things in the past. They will not budge on anything if it means a little change.

Plenty of seating inside and out, but the café is a victim of its own popularity and last time we visited they had a sign saying there was a 30 minute wait for food. I remember the food being very good, but this time we didn't want to wait so had a coffee and ice cream to go (both excellent). Our miscalculation to visit during school holidays - service is much quicker in term time!

Havnt been for years and the food used to be so good went today for somewere differnt to go the the pie was cold swimming in to much gravy, the othe food was veggie sausage these were over cooked and the coffee was disgusting tasted burnt and even the peppermint tea was off the chairs are dirty and cold to sit on it has really gone down hill from the lovely place and food it used too serve will not be going again.

Millhouses Park Cafe
Strive and welcome awful. I have two children who are both on the autistic spectrum. We're were told extremely abruptly and in an excessively confrontational manner to leave the premises as my children were speaking too loud and we all had moody feet. Awful service and I will be taking this further.
