This is a fantastic shortish walk around the gardens/grounds of Arbigland house. Plenty of trees, flowers and other items for you to discover on your walk. The grounds keepers were lovely to talk to and eager to point out special areas for you to see so you don't miss out.

Lovely house with alot of world influencing history. Interesting Japanese gardens, our kids actually licked trees to find the three toffee trees!! Wayne the owner is a lovely chatty man. Good access down to beach. Didn't expect my cocker spaniel to find and kill a chicken on the beach though!

Spent an afternoon roaming the gardens and beach both of which are beautiful and interesting. Look for the toffee tree if you go there! Unfortunately didn't have time to view the mansion that day. Met the latest owner who was very nice and informative! I'm looking forward to another visit possibly in spring to see what's in bloom. Definitely recommend a visit here.

Absolutely fabulous 'almost lost' gardens.Visited whilst staying at John Paul Jones museum caravan site. Loved exploring in what felt like secret gardens. First time seen a Toffee tree - smells just like toffee. Loved the walk down to the beach. Enjoyed this so much, visited on two days. So peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend and would definitely return. Thank you.

Went round the gardens and along the boardwalk. Very nice to see many different types of trees plants and flowers. We went on a day when the weather was bad would imagine they would be even nicer in good weather. We met one of the owners who was very enlightening and explained everything they were doing.

Fascinating garden and really interesting to see the work that has been done and is on-going. Easily spent a couple of hours wandering around with the family and lots to keep everyone interested. Would thoroughly recommend a visit.

What an interesting place this was.We loved wandering around the grounds. They are not as manicured as some places but all the more special for it. You can wander down to the beach and around the Japanese garden and find the 'toffee trees'The tour of the house was the icing on the cake. (If you have already visited John Paul Jones' birthplace you will have more of an idea of the people being referred to but it isn’t essential.)The Owner was charming and knowledgeable. He answered all of our many and varied questions with the utmost patience.Loved finding out more about this wonderful house. What views it has!
