Loved it, nice links course by the railway and near the sea. Lovely fairway runs and difficult greens. Nice clubhouse and great staff.

Travelled 100 miles to enjoy this course. Not unexpectedly after so many months of rain, the course had several areas of wet to very wet. Despite that, it was a great experience EXCEPT that we took 2 1/2 hours to finish 9 holes. After 12 holes we were at 3 1/2 hours, and walked in. 5 hour plus golf in Scotland is simply unacceptable.Both before and after the game we enjoyed food in the clubhouse where service was polite and warm. Food good and tasty. Such a pity that our experience was so spoiled by farcical slow play.

Although it was winter, and I expected some course restrictions, the tees were basically mounds of mud which was disappointing. A mat would have been nice. Course layout not obvious at points and a guide on scorecard would help. Clubhouse was nice, good food and service.

Really enjoyed my day out for the 18 holes. Was a long course which surprised me a bit. I don't like links courses but this bucks the trend for me! Course was in great condition. Greens had been worked on and assume in a week or so they will be perfect, though difficult.It's a beautiful course to walk around and lots of tricky holes. A little thought is required before bombing a drive down the fairways... As I found out in the second as didn't realise there was a water hazard... My ball sadly didn't swim.Good Clubhouse too, I had a couple of bacon rolls and a Latte, just the trick before a game. Friendly service.Would definitely go back.

Strong test of golf, on the other side of the railway so perhaps less sea views. Some trees but still a very linksy feel with fiery fairways. Greens were great, running very true. Don't miss to tee it up here!

Course is very good and in very good condition. The greens were fantastic. we played the 18 hole course , we played it as we are in the area and i would play it again, food was very nice and staff very friendly.

Went on a Friday, course was in excellent condition with the greens being rapid.The course is narrow so really keeps you thinking the way round.Time for 18 holes 4 1/2 hrs with very little delays. It's a long course so getting a trolley is a must if your at that age.After golf into clubhouse for drinks and food.Staff excellent, very attentive.Drinks not to expensive and the food great value and very tasty.Around a great day and brilliant course.
