Anna Nails

Absolutely disgusted with how we were treated in the nail shop yesterday..by a young guy..I accidentally moved my foot because it was tickling and the nail removal tool moved with my foot and must of hurt the guy using it. I said I’m so sorry instantly because I know it probably hurt but the look he gave me was disgusting he stared at me in disgust…I’ve never moved my foot like that before so I don’t know why my foot had moved but it tickled so much. The whole time he was giving my mum and I filthy looks, he did my toes and the colour wasn’t as strong as it looked in the swatch, all he needed to do was add another layer.. I know that and I’m not a nail tech, he then told the lady working next to him and she said to add another layer after he added another layer. I was then happier with the result. Time for nails on my hands…at this point I was close to walking out, but I was hoping I was going to have a different person working on me as at the time he was working on my mums hands, so I persevered in hope that I would have a better experience but he then swapped over and started working on my hands, the way he was moving my fingers around and directing me to put my hands into the machine was very clear to see how annoyed he was. He hardly said a word to me which is fine I don’t want to sit and talk the whole time and would much rather if someone is training to be able to concentrate. But when I was training to be a hairdresser I was never rude to a paying client and would always try my best to make them feel comfortable. He clearly lacked that and I hope he was just having a bad day, I thought he was just rushing because the shop closes at 4:00 on Sunday, but he finished my nails walked off then started working on a new client…leaving it not possible for me to even say Thankyou. The nails are good thank god. Or I would absolutely not have paid! I was close to walking out. A good few times. I will not be returning, honestly my worst nail experience I’ve ever had. I understand, language barrier and don’t expect them to understand everything I say but the odd smile or how is that would have been nice. I’m hoping it was just a bad day and other clients don’t get treated how I was, I never write reviews on things but this I felt really needed addressing, hopefully to improve the way future clients get treated and also for the guy to grow in the future. If this was my first ever experience in a nail shop let me tell you I would never step foot in one again.

Visited today on a whim as was running out of time! Staff were so pleasant and welcomed me in, even though they were shortly due to close! I am so busy with work and was so desperate to fix my nails! Accommodating isn’t even the word to describe them! Everyone was so friendly and the prices were amazing!! My nails are the best they have been in years, I have naturally long nails so don’t need acrylic but even so, it was all done gently to savour the natural nail and length. I am beyond thrilled and will definitely be returning - they also do loyalty cards and I will definitely be one of their returning customers along with my daughter. Thank you all for being so brilliant, making me feel comfortable and seeing me so last minute. I look forward to coming back for more excellent service, I’ve even booked a pedicure on Saturday because I hear they are the best ones!! Can’t wait to try!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Rude and unfriendly! Second nail salon in Ashford and last one I will visit that said they could do my nails without an appt. Call me over after 10 mins file them prep them then all she had to do was put 2 coats of my own nail varnish on as I don't do shellac. It would have taken 5 mins but she goes off to do a pedicure then another manicure so I ask if they will be doing mine soon to which another nail artist says orobably not we are closing soon. Waste of time! Rude!

Been here a few times now and they are definitely my favourite nail bar in the area! Always do what I ask and have great suggestions when I’m not sure what I want. Anna did my nails today and she lovely and so efficient, literally couldn’t ask for better. Definitely recommend!

These guys have got a discount offer on as new opening. Fantastic pedicure and manicure shellac. I had a young lady do my feet and a gentleman called Tom for my hands highly recommended. I will be back. Great service.

This is the second time I've visited this nail salon and they have been super friendly and helpful both times. They helped me with the design for the acrylics I was after, nothing has been too much trouble. I will definitely be visiting again for my next set :)

I had a horrible experience here I’ve been here once the first time was great, but the second time was horrible and I will not be going again and this is whyI had milky white nails on, so I came in for an infill as I was picking my colours. The lady told me that she’ll have to take all my nails off because the colour would be see-through and I said I don’t mind that’s kind of what I’m looking for so I carry on picking colours.NOW CAN I TELL YOU This lady had the worst attitude everTo get a full set is £30 to get in fill is £28 as I was told I kind of didn’t think it was fair, but it’s fine. The lady told me that they undercharged me last time as I’m over the age of 18 when I pacifically remember them asking how old I was I told him I’m 22 but I thought whatever I’ll pay the £28 the nails lasted. It’s all goodThe whole time she was roughly doing my nails, it’s like she was hurrying when she was filing my nails, she burnt me on my nail after she filled them in a different lady sat down to paint my nails. I chose a colour that I originally wanted and asked if she could do that . The other lady told me that will be see-through. I said that’s fine.. the two ladies started to speak in their language, which I don’t mind, but it was clearly about me the lady painting my nails was fine. She didn’t say anything she just painted. normally in all my years of getting my nails painted they only put two coats, this lady put FOUR coats of paint and then put two coats of topcoat the reason why she done it is so that the nail varnish would not be see-through I also want an almond shape for my nails which I got, but they’re all different sizes and the crooked I know, I should’ve said something but I didn’t because I didn’t wanna cause anyone stress so I paid and went to the nail shop opposite. Got my nails redone and I love them exactly what I wanted !! X
