M&S Simply Food

One of the best M&S stores I’ve visited. The layout is superb, all very modern and spacious with everything easy to find. Staff are all super helpful and friendly.It’s also worth noting that they reduce a lot of items near the end of the day, so it can be well worth a visit 15 minutes before closing time to grab a few bargains!

Great location and a large store with plenty of parking. Lots of variety in store and usually most of the items in stock. Easier to get to and no rush like other stores just avoid on match days or you will get stuck.

Lovely M & S produce, staff and store and wonderful. Lovely and clean and great items. Love this shop. Traffic often bad if Derby are playing at home around pride park.

All too easy to get completely carried away here. Spacious, light and airy, this is a lovely place to shop for food. Plenty of free parking with disabled places right outside the entrance. When we visited only one check-out was staffed, but the self-check outs work well so there was no problem or delay in paying for our shopping.The security guard will obviously act as a disincentive for shop lifters and must also be reassuring for the staff in the store. Will visit again when in the area.

Who ever is the architect & design team/company behind these new stores really need to take into account when designing the floor plan out, to take extra consideration to the outside planning ie car park / goods in delivery area because this new store lacks the consideration for lgv vehicles delivering, its been observed that the delivery vehicles take a route around the public car park to access the goods in bay! & not good where the store employees cannot park there own vehicles on the store car park because there is a timed parking fee! Not good as you would expect better from a company like M&S, just take a look at lidl or ALDI for whom have an suitable unloading bay at many of its stores. The inside is very modern.

The store and its staff are exceptional, it really is great to have something of this quality on this side of Derby. There is a fantastic selection of food and seasonal items, complemented by a delicious bakery. However, it's important to mention that accessing the store can be quite challenging. I'm well aware that M&S has no control over this, but the journey can be significantly longer than anticipated to reach the store especially when navigating through the traffic at the Wyvern and Costco junctions. This can add up to 40 minutes to your trip, making quick or random visits impossible. Additionally, the parking at the store quickly fills up, only exacerbated by rude and entitled drivers seeming to be more frequent than normal.

Great selection of food here, including dietary condition (free from) which is always good for colieac sufferers. Prices are more than most supermarkets but it's not just food it's M&S food. Always worth popping in.

Loved it because its just food and the large store makes it sooo much easier to shop! Marks is not the most frugal place to shop but if you go for the meal offers it is well worth the money and lovely tasting food !

I am greatly impressed by the amount of effort they have made to acknowledge and represent the history of this location.The railway history has been well presented.A nice range of products and produce.The right place for that treat.
