Jonathan photographed our wedding at Langley Castle in June last year. He was absolutely fantastic. The service he provided before, during and continues to provide after the wedding is tremendous. He’s such a genuinely lovely and talented guy. Our photos are outstanding.Circumstances meant that we booked him without meeting him first, but we knew from looking at his sample photos and conversations on the phone that he was right man for the job. He just made everything easy from start to finish. He was really easy to talk to and totally professional.When we got round to the day, he was great. We felt completely comfortable around him and so did our guests. In fact, lots of people specifically commented on how much of a nice guy he was.We aren’t the most natural pair in front of a camera, so we didn’t want to feel like the photos took over at any point and they never did. It felt like the most natural thing in the world. Jonathan struck the perfect balance between letting the day unfold and capturing it as it happened and arranging us (or guests) into shots.We didn’t want a lot of formal photos. There were few key group shots, but we really wanted shots that captured the mood of the day – and they really do. The love and laughter that is our main memory of the day absolutely shine out of the photos, whether it’s us in the frame or guests. I feel so lucky that we have such beautiful images to look back on.Other bits and bobs… The pre-wedding meeting was great and really useful to run through how things would work. The fact that we get a copy of all the digital images to print ourselves if we want to is really good (and it seems surprisingly rare). Although seven months later we still haven’t got round to picking out photos for the album, that’s fine, and I know that Jonathan will still be happy to help if we need his advice when finally get around to it.In short, book him. He’s brilliant!
