Coolheat Plumbing

Had my bathroom fitted by Coolheat. Very high standard, prompt and nice guys. Would reccommend to anyone needing a new bathroom.

Major problem with massive water leak behind kitchen unit. Coolheat came to our emergency. Brilliant response and sorted in no time

Excellent Plumbers. Highly recommended. Installed new boiler, radiators and connection to UFH. Started work only days after initial quote. New boiler and radiators installed within only a few days by James, who was very polite, neat and tidy. Additional follow up work requested was also completed promptly with no leaks. Will definitely be using Coolheat again.

Landlord Gas Safety Check last week. Simon arrived on the day agreed.Previously had Jack look at some previous dodgy plumbing, was also very good.Thankyou to both and will use again next year or if any problems were to arise .

Supplied and fitted new boiler, flushed heating system and set up thermostat regulator etc. Very polite, friendly but professional to deal with. Work completed to very high standard. Very clean, leaving no mess anywhere. Very competitive price too. Completely happy with whole process from my initial enquiry to them waving as they drove away when job finished....then received a phone call few days later to follow up. Most impressed with Simon, Jack and Richard.

I requested quotes to replace some tap and for a gas fire to be serviced.After the initial visit,I was told they'll get back to me with a quote.After a couple of phone calls I gave up, it's pretty obvious that they're not interested in doing smaller jobs for oap's.

I AM A FRUSTRATED AND UNHAPPY CLIENT.I had a good experience at the quote stage to refurbish a bathroom. The quote was the middle priced one of 3. It took a lot of chasing to get the quote. But when the work was due to start, their carpenter was ill with covid. Obviously that was not their fault, so I was patient with them. They found another one who could come the following week (ie starting a week late), but the day after he was due to start he told them he did not want the job. At this stage they were communicating well, and keeping me in the picture. I had sympathy that this was beyond their control,So I found a carpenter and tiler to take over that part of the work.Now I just needed them to do the plumbing. I asked for a revised quote, since the job was reduced. Their new quote was £1950 - which they gave a day AFTER they had promised to do the work (but hadn't turned up on the day they should have started). This price seemed ridiculously high, for what was left of the job,. £1950 to supply and fit an undersink water heater, change an extractor fan with like for like, and fit an expansion tank to another undersink vented water heater, which they had said was a small job.According to the manufacturer, the undersink vented water heater cannot take an expansion tank. So thank goodness they didn't do that job! It would have caused problems, apparently.And the first 2 jobs were completed for less than £450 - saving me £1500. When the job started to go wrong, their communication got less and less. I am a VERY FRUSTRATED AND UNHAPPY CLIENT AND FELT LET DOWN BY THEM.

I’ve worked with them and then used their services personally because I know their standard of work. They give 110% every time, without fail. I cannot praise them enough, and they are genuinely really nice people too.

Simon was a massive help today. I’d been in hospital for 2 weeks and came back to no hot water or heating. Was a simple issue that Simon fixed for no charge! Would highly recommend and will keep in mind for any future plumbing work.Thanks so much.

This was a complete redesign and refurbishment of our bathroom to turn it into a wetroom. Right from the start, Simon and Richard - of Coolheat in Magor/Undy, Monmouthshire - were on top of what became a complicated and sometimes difficult job, dealing with our specific needs with sympathy and patience.
