The food was nice however the service was very very slow. Our food also came out incorrect with bacon on the veggie option and the yorkshires missing from three dishes. We wanted to order pudding but after not seeing any wait staff for ages, we gave up and just asked for the bill. Additionally, the owner crammed a huge table right behind us which blocked the walkway to the toilet and also blocked my dad in (who is a wheelchair user). We had to ask this poor table to stand up and move out of the way just as they were getting their food. It’s pretty awful that people in wheelchairs are treated this way and we received no apology when this was fed back to the staff.

Excellent location to where we were going. Can't say enough about the staff absolutely nothing too much. Friendly and courteous.Only gripe the beds are just too small. I don't think they are even a double. Didn't sleep well at all unfortunately.

Had a meal in the restaurant, it was reasonably priced, excellent service from all the staff and and could not fault the food at all. All in the party were really happy with all aspects and went home very content.

would be a lovely setting in the summer.just stopped by for refreshments.tried the shard prawn cocktail and stealth chips. excellent.some interesting items on the menu. which I look forward to trying some day.very comfortable surroundings.asked for a Irish coffee and for his first attempt it was absolutely excellent. very impressed. not many places can do one that good .didn't stop overnight so can't really comment on the rooms.

Just wow! Food absolutely outstanding! We had starters and mains all cooked to perfection and all tasted amazing! This place needs more recognition! The chef needs a pay rise, it was absolutely faultless, will 100% be back.

Love this place always have, food is exceptional, the setting is superb and the staff are always friendly and helpful. First time I've ever stayed overnight and it was everything you could want. Clean room, comfy bed, good quality breakfast in the morning. Think it's safe to assume this won't be our last stay here.

Was informed by a very angry lady called Mandy we where 10 min late for breakfast we had no information in our room as we where told there is none in room 12 and we wasn't told when checked in. Instead of saying it was to late even though guests where still eating she came storming out of the kitchen with a filthy apron on and threw two menus at us said your late If you.want a fry up im only doing fried eggs in a very angry tone. She then sent our breakfast out the eggs and sausage where undercooked I could not eat my meal I was already upset at the embarrassment by her raising her voice in the restaurant .I suffer with severe anxiety and needed this well deserved last min break this totally ruined my stay here and I went home as I was to upset to enjoy my day out.

We visited the restaurant of this establishment as a party of 7.The menu is excellent. The food and drink was great and the service superb.

Lovely place. Service ok but not exceptional. 3 staff working in restaurant, 2 behind bar but busy, so a little slower than normal. I suggest booking a table in advance. Food perfect. Chicken salad, highly recommend. My friend had salmon.....worth trying.

Great location of the river and if you want to sit inside you have window views of the river.Bought a Meze which had mixed olives, humus, peppers and pitta bread. We also bought chips which looked hand cut and was pretty tasty. Nice to go and chill for the afternoon on a lovely sunny day.
