My laptop was damaged from water spillage. Took it to the shop, paid 18 pounds for them to take a look at it. Called me back, explained the problem, we discussed possibility of changing motherboard but he would first tried to clean it with chemicals for a lot less cost, and it worked. Quite happy with the service, the speed and the cost. I thought they were honest, they could have insisted on changing the motherboard and charging more money but they did not, they helped to solve the problem in the most economical way possible for the client. Same day delivery.

Was sold new phone for reasonable price after hearing about a couple of other options. Unfortunately, guy was not keen to help me with follow-up queries and difficulties the next day, telling me to research it myself (even with an hour left until closing time). Will find somewhere else to help.Edit: realised too late that I was encouraged to buy the reasonably" priced phone as it was an old and unpopular model he likely wanted to be rid of (A03 core). The other options I was vaguely discouraged from buying would have been more suitable. Generally unhelpful and lacklustre service. I have since purchased a better model elsewhere."

The new owner not only fixed my computer but also provided outstanding service throughout the process.Initially, I had encountered significant trouble and financial loss with the previous owner. I had given them my laptop for repair three months ago, along with an upfront payment of £200. However, the repair process was plagued with delays and miscommunication. They quoted a repair cost of £400 initially, but later raised it to £800, along with an additional charge of £180 to return my computer unrepaired.Despite numerous visits and discussions, I was left frustrated and disappointed with the lack of accountability and transparency from the previous owner. They claimed that the repair work was done by employees who no longer worked there, making it difficult to resolve the issue.However, everything changed when Lapfones underwent a change in ownership. The new owner took immediate action to rectify the situation and restore my faith in their services. They apologized for my past experience and assured me that they would resolve the outstanding issues.Under the new management, Lapfones went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service. They fixed my MacBook, addressing all the issues and ensuring its proper functionality. The repair was carried out with expertise and precision.I am incredibly grateful to the new owner for their professionalism, integrity, and dedication to customer satisfaction. Staff were friendly and helpful, I had a broken laptop hinge and they said they would perform a diagnostics first at cost of £18 (non refundable) and would call me later with diagnostics report and ask if I wanted to proceed with the repair the £18 would come out of the total cost. Which I agreed to.My laptop was fixed within less than hour, same day. They didn't call me to ask if I wanted to proceed with repair which meant I had to pay the final total cost. Because they forgot to call, they did give me a generous discount and cleaned my laptop fan.I have had my laptop back for 3 days now so I can't say for sure whether they did a great lasting repair job. The invoice comes with a 3 month hardware warranty.I would recommend this place and I would go again.
