Sprowston Park and Ride

This was the first time that a classic car show and auto jumble was held there. It was a good success. Hopefully there will be more to come.

Well worth taking the bus into Norwich as the journey in showed how bad it was with parked cars everywhere on the route. Nice little cafe at the car park, really handy when you get back and in need of a cold drink.

Plenty of free parking and 502 buses run every 20mins into the city. We used the group save which is 5 people travelling together after 10am for £5:50 they prefer payment by card as they had very little change. Bus was hot in this hot weather. Last bus arrives back around 6:45 car park closes at 7pm. There were good clean toilets on the carpark and a café where you could get a drink and some food open when we arrived in the morning.

Convenient parking for city and cheaper than the bus.Car boot sale on Sunday is awesome too, good mix and if you're a seller there's plenty of people of all age ranges

I often use Sprowston park and ride. It's a quick journey into Norwich only about 10-15 mins and buses used to run every 20 mins but I think it changes at less busy times. Nice quick and easy. Plenty of parking and a coffee bar, somewhere to sit while waiting for a bus. No stress trying to find parking in Norwich on busy days.

Parking brilliant but whatever ages on the bus you have to pay so no free rides and ours was £2:20each way where it would be free on other buses

It is good to have a service such as the park and ride. I use it every week day and it's so much easier than trying to park in the centre. However, it is not the most reliable service. I would estimate that at least once or twice a week the busses don't turn up. Sometimes, two in a row, meaning you have to wait for at least 40 minutes. The busses used to also be every 15 minutes rather than 20, which was much better. It would also be great if they provided electrical charging points for cars and what would be really great would be if the hire bikes and scooters were also located here. This would be great for those days when the busses don't arrive.

Sprowston Park & Ride is ideal if you want to visit Norwich without being snarled up in commuter traffic or paying a small fortune for city centre parking.It boasts regular buses into the city, a generously sized car park, benches, and public toilets.There are spaces reserved for disabled drivers and one accessible toilet with baby changing facilities.Be aware that you may find that your phone signal a little weak.

Good place to park the car and get the bus into Norwich. A large car park, plenty of spaces and no height restrictions for my motor home. Be warned there is a £2.00 fare even if you have a seniors bus pass.
