This pub serves excellent food, with an interesting range of choices, generous portions, and quick service. We sat outside with our dog in lovely weather. Dogs are allowed in the bar inside. The only downside was the tinny music failing to distract from the road noise from a nearby bypass. Having said that, I'd definitely go again.

revisited again after 3years. the standard of food and service were good. they are doing specical lunch £7 soup and toasty, £5 omelette and salad. the smoked haddock and slow cooked belly pork were delicious，We arrived at 1pm on friday, it was already quite busy. my recommendation is to book advance to guarantee seats. sandwiches are in generous portions. steak and potato pies is tasty.

We travelled to meet both our sets of Parents for a pre Christmas meal and present exchange. Found The Elm Tree on TripAdvisor and booked a table.We were not disappointed, everything was amazing. Compliments to the Chef, food was excellent and great value for money.We would highly recommend this establishment ment.

Absolutely beautiful , food was amazing , service first class , very friendly, party of 13 and service was perfect. The menu is lovely . We were celebrating my grandma's 95th birthday and they made it very special. Will definitely be back. Thank you

We came last Sunday for a carvery which was delicious, HOWEVER… after dinner I went into the gents toilets and was followed in by one of your young chefs who was still wearing his apron. He then went into the cubicle to do his business - all whilst still wearing his apron!!!(Which he is then taking back into the kitchen to do food prep!)To be honest, this made me feel quite sick, I’m not sure if we’ll be returning again.

Needed a good meal while doing a 9hr drive. Could not have been nicer!! Fantastic food and friendly atmosphere!! Wish they were closer to home! If passing will stop in again!

Amazing!We booked a table for 15 people for my daughters birthday. On arrival the staff were very welcoming and showed us to our table.Throughout the night the staff was very polite and always there when needed.The food was amazing, and was all 15 dishes were served together.Cannot recommend this pub enough. They have a great menu at flood prices, cooked to perfection and a really good bunch of staff.Thank you all.
