What a fantastic place this is. Stunning secluded location between the two arguably most beautiful Assynt beaches and therefore a fantastic base for exploring both, the nearby coast and everything else Assynt has to offer.The cottage was really cosy, was fully equipped and hosts left a few little treats in the kitchen to kick-start the holiday.Thank you, we will definitely be back!

amazing place to spend a weeks holiday - we went in Autumn at the end of October and loved the changing colours of the scenery, the walks right from the cottage to the bays and short trips to Kylesku and Ullapool. Gary and Kate were excellent hosts - and the advice Gary gave for being able to walk to waterfalls and explore the local area were excellent. The cottage was warm and sheltered with stunning views of the sea - we'd happily just sit there and watch the view all day!

Lovely little cottages, nicely decorated and fully equipped.My boys loved it here and so did we.There was no Internet or WiFi but it didn't bother us. There was lots of lovely walks to do and the beaches were stunning.Shame we have had to come home but we have already spoken about going again.

A very well equipped cottage in a fabulous and quiet location. It is very well placed for exploring the Assynt. The owners are great and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended.

Absolutely stunning in its location and presentation, stayed 1st week August 23 the cottage was superbly equipped and very clean. There is a seat at the rear of the property where you can just sit and contemplate in complete tranquility. The scenery in the surrounding area is truly amazing, We saw red deer at the property in the evening. Overall an amazing place for a vacation.

We’ve just had an a wonderful time in Assynt, staying in Myrtle Cottage. Such a cosy, well equipped place, beautiful sunsets, a great base to return to after a day of adventuring on the coast or up the mountains. Can’t wait to visit again.

A charming place within 15 minutes walk to a most beautiful and secluded beach. The cottages are well furnished and there is a wealth of information left in them about walks and about places of interest. Thoroughly enjoyed my week there this summer (2018).
