Sometimes you get through to someone who bothers to listen and doesn't treat you like a waste of time and resources. Mostly i wonder whether they bother to read what you write in the e-consults? I think not. Just get generic advice that I have already written has not worked in the past. Tell me to go to a pharmcy. Already done that, hence why i have now come to the gp practice. Too focused on telling me what time I missed the call and not helping me with the actual problem.Whenever I call to speak to a someone I get told to do an e-consult. I'm not being funny but people actually die from undiagnosed and untreated problems. You push people in to hospitals and cause extra complications because you're not assessing them. Remember person centred care? Where has that gone? Please stop with the generic advice and use your clinical judgement.

Do not use the walk route to go to the GP, use the car route. Please be on time as they have other patients to look at as well.Good service.Initial few minutes of waiting at the reception is normal.Good ambience and seems to be fine for the pets as well to stay.WC and parking available.

My experience has been unpleasant so far. Called reception yesterday for an appointment and she gave me a email to send a mail to and which I did. The mail reply came back referring me to call the reception again. Tossing me back and forth. I think they deliberately try to keep as much people away from accessing health care which has been paid for already.

impossible to contact a dr especially in real life - e-consult only which is almost never available, and replies via email so in order to give more information you have to fill in a new e consult. A very slow process.I told the practice I had migraines and headaches nearly every day and ‘Mark’ told me it’s normal female hormones. I don’t know if I need to explain how I feel about that.Prescriptions are given but you are not notified of that in the replies from e-consults. I have little faith in being taken seriously by this practice.

I would prefer to write a positive review but sadly I can't. I am shocked that with so many poor reviews that standards remain poor. My daughter has just started university and its her first time away from home. She has tried to register at the practice to be able to get the medication that she needs and has been met with rudeness and hostility. Most new students have never had to book appointments before, they are inexperienced and anxious, but instead of empathy and compassion my daughter was treated terribly. Is it too hard to be kind?

Receptionists are often cheeky and condescending. Doctors have been great though. Just a shame that people are already struggling and the receptionist has no bedside manner. Sensitivity training would be beneficial.

Switched to this doctor surgery after being let down so much by another one and I would say this one is equally as bad. There has now been countless incidents where I have felt unsupported and there is a lack of duty of care. It is nothing more than a call centre and even then that's pushing it because they usually respond to e-consults via email which is not helpful if you want to further ask questions. You just feel like they are trying to get you off their back but really it creates more problems and wastes their time more because you end up calling back unsatisfied. The whole communication system is seriously flawed and it is impossible to get an appointment when you need it. Some issues I've personally experienced were no urgency to get to the root of problems unless you have all the symptoms they ask you about as I had an awful cough for nearly a year that was affecting my daily life and I got prescriptions I didn't need such as an inhaler and nasal sprays which done no good for me. I was told on the phone by a doctor that they only make you feel better, they don't get to the root of problems which is ridiculous. I finally had a chest x-ray done and I was told to go elsewhere for the results weeks later when they received them a day after the x-ray got done and never thought to notify me. They were also very rude about the situation as they were convinced they didn't have them. Also when you call about results you just get told its fine and no other details about it so it just feels pointless and they just tell you to make an e-consult if still not happy. I also had minor surgery and I was made to feel confident about the outcome but now I have a permanent keloid scar and there was no mention of the risk of this happening when I got the surgery as he made me feel very confident that the cyst would be gone but now its so much worse than the cyst and I wish I never got it done. They also should of provided aftercare or a follow up. When I asked for the possibility of treatment for the scar I just got told through email unsympathetically that there is no cure and to seek advice from a pharmacist which is crazy to advise me to go elsewhere. Sorry for the ramble but the worst experience has to be when I was convinced I had a uti that didn't go away with at home treatment or antibiotics they gave me. I did a sample at the practice that came back negative and the other samples I did I had to do again because the receptionist didn't label them and I only found this out weeks later. I had important uni deadlines due and they wouldn't write me a doctors letter because the sample was negative. I was in excruciating pain every day taking so much ibuprofen to manage the pain and I knew something wasn't right, I had to push for more action to be taken as they did not care and they didn't believe me that it was a uti when the sample could of just been inaccurate. So I am calling 111 several times as I didn't know what else to do and they just referred me back to the doctors who ended up giving me laxatives after persisting for an in-person appointment to essentially get me off their back... I ended up doing another sample and it was in fact a uti so another round of antibiotics and damage probably done to my kidneys as it went untreated for so long and when I expressed my frustration about the whole situation I just got told to make a complaint so this is what I am doing :) Because of that experience I ended up losing out on my opportunity to graduate this summer as I had to get extensions for my deadlines so thank you so much for this!!

Please do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. The staff are all incredibly rude, lack any kind of empathy, have no communication between themselves leading to my appointments being cancelled when I did need them to continue with life saving medication. The practice also refuses to send prescriptions to other GP practices as of a few months ago, which as a student is a complete and utter nightmare to deal with. The receptionists have gaslit me into believing things I was told I wasn’t actually told, and the complete reliability on e consults is ridiculous, especially since when you do manage to get an appointment they often don’t result in anything helpful either. I highly recommend going elsewhere.

Was told by a clinician that my 3st weight loss 16 months of daily agony is all in my mind! If I have too I'll go to the press with a catalogue of rudeness bullying and delayed scans from the beginning, These lot will not silence me through intimidation like they did at Newburn..I've had to involve Social work and advocacy services If you can avoid registering at any of Iqubals practices please do so they are not fit for purpose..

The receptionist does not relay message correctly. There has only ever been locums at surgery affecting quality of care. If you see only one doctor you can build up a rapport. But it doesn’t happen we have to phone for appointments before 8.30 for a same day appointment and you can’t choose your doctor. I have written to them and they only deal with one problem at a time I have been in pain from 2015. I just feel I am wasting my money. Sadly I am epileptic and have lost allot of key documents to change to a better more efficient surgery.
