I had a great time attending John’s classes! The structure of the sessions really worked and allowed us to have the freedom to make what we wanted, whilst getting tones of advice and help. Would sincerely recommend to anybody thinking about having a go at pottery. Plus it’s a win-win because not only did I get valuable experience, but my own pottery as well!

I recently completed the beginners throwing course with John and cannot recommend it enough! It was a great introduction to pottery with sessions on throwing, trimming and glazing - a really good format to get a taste of all parts of the process. John was a very good teacher, patiently helping us and giving advice throughout. We also got to take lots of pots home!

Had such a good time at John’s pottery course. There were 6 of us in total of different levels (4 absolute beginners) and we all learnt something and came away with some beautiful pieces!Would definitely go again. John had so much time and patience for us and made sure we all came away with something we were proud of.

I had an absolute blast, taking an introduction to wheel pottery course for beginners! The photos attached are what I created and i’ve never have done wheel pottery before!! If you’re a beginner (like me) and want to have a go at wheel throwing, I highly recommend taking one of John’s classes. Great teacher, super chill and welcoming environment, you can create anything and as many things as you like (and time allows of course) and you’ll learn the process step by step. Super rewarding overall, a 10/10 creative experience! Highly recommend!!

Amazingly gorgeous ceramic mugs! We purchased two, along with a beautiful tall ceramic beaker, at Stockbridge market and have been in love with them ever since. I can't stand small mugs, and these are both huge, and so pretty, they're now our favourite everyday mugs! Even my largely unenthusiastic partner is impresed! xD Really pleased, thx so much <3
