About the Business

Hatton Locks | Places to visit in Warwickshire | Canal & River Trust | State of the art locks were built at Hatton to fight off stiff competition from the roads and railways in the 1930s. When the locks were completed bands played and crowds gathered to watch the Duke of Kent arrive by boat and cut the ribbon.

Hatton Locks
This is a quite and beautiful place, free entry but few pounds parking fee, kind of a good choice for daily walk. But nothing very interesting, I may not visit there again in the following years.

Carpark easy access for motorhome, pleasant walk down to the bottom lock, 2.2m then back for lunch a the great little café. Really good food, reasonably priced. Beer if you want too.

Great place to visit. You can walk along the path next to the canal, about 2 and a half miles each way. 22 locks to see.

Close to A46 so drop off here for a relaxing walk part way through our travels. £2 car park and there is a cafe.

Great historical location for a lovely easy walk. Hatton Arms Pub and Hatton Locks café are close by and both are excellent for refreshments! Car park can get busy and it now has a “pay by App” option

Such a beautiful place to walk, lovely cafe that serves dog friendly ice cream! Great food too. Theres also toilets. The scenary is just beautiful. You could walk for miles. Parking is only 3.50 for all day, very reasonable price. We have been here a few times. Lovely day out for all.

Well worth a stop if you are close by. Luckily we saw a barge pass through the locks otherwise it wouldn't have been so interesting..for me anyway! Didn't use the cafe so can't comment on that. Parking was ok, I bet it gets full in high season tho. July 23: £2 for 2 hours. Had a nice chat to the volunteers working the locks and they were happy to share their knowledge.
