Lotus Belle Tent

Hari, the business owner was on hand to provide great support for my online purchase of this beautiful lotus Belle, 3m airbelle tent.I am thoroughly delighted with both the service and the tent. I now have a beautiful, cosy space for my massage treatments, with plenty of room to put a massage plinth or a double futon on the floor, due to no centre pole! My clients love it, as do I. It feels like a beautiful massage temple.

Mouldy and didn’t clean effectively with professional cleaning !It wasn’t the best experience which is a shame as I sung their praises far and wide before the issue arose.I bought the tent including winter and summer liners making the package shy of 3k and was told the tent could be cleaned professionally as it was canvas and a natural material.When i sent it for cleaning by the company lotus belle recommended I was informed it wouldn’t clean due to the plastic coating placed on the inside. I contacted lotus belles owner Hari who initially promised I would have a replacement tent should their manufacturer also fail to clean it. She admitted that there was a likely fault in the manufacturing due to the plastic and that they had offered to try to get it clean, she, like me suspected it would not be successful and she told me I would most likely get a replacement tent.I asked what chemicals would be used and what processes. I asked if it would be insured and what training they had in cleaning tents. She admitted to not knowing the answer to any of these questions. It became obvious to me that some bloke was going to have a go to avoid having to compensate lotus belle for the faulty manufacturing.Hari then became incommunicado and an employee stepped in who then gaslit me telling me it wasn’t faulty but couldn’t give an explanation for the use of a plastic coating or why it wouldn’t clean.They also changed the timescales several times of when their bloke would have a go cleaning it. I was then told I would be given a replacement as they couldn’t clean it for several more weeks and then told I wasn’t to be given one. The whole thing was disorganised and unprofessional.In the end they offered to buy the tent at a little under 50% if what I paid. I accepted but only because it appeared to be the only way to get any come back. I would not be able to buy another tent for that money and that’s the point surely. The tent had emotional meaning for me and i was really quite upset about the whole thing.They are nice tents but they go mouldy and mine wouldn’t clean. I can’t speak for other tents but I came away feeling disappointed about it.I did think about not leaving a review but it doesn’t seem fair to me that this could happen again.They appeared to be a small, ethical business but it didn’t feel that way when it went wrong.

For a $3k tent you’d think they’d have some decent customer serviceWas recommended these by my mentor (Robuilt on YouTube), and he’s also had bad experiences with their customer service lately and advised against themEssentially, if you’re looking to build out a glamping site and have any issues or requests, they will absolve themselves of any responsibility and get nasty quickly against you (I can still remember their manager Brittany and it irks me lol)We had issues with our tent and they were not open to helping us figure out a solution. I was looking to ultimately buy 6 for my glamping business in SoCal. Decided to go with a competitor which was supportive every step of the way.The quality is solid, cannot deny that. If you’re looking for one tent for fun or the fam, these are solid, but if you’re looking to get multiple units for a glamping type business, having vendors who work with you is very important, and my experience was the opposite of thatHope this helps

Lotus Belle tents are the best! I have two Belles, both used seasonally....one still happy and beautiful at 9 years old. They are easy to pitch, roomy, look gorgeous and absolutely LAUGH at a storm!As a customer contacting Hari in 2012 and still purchasing in 2021, I think it's wonderful that she is still just as lovely and personal to her clients....even though the Lotus Belle Tent company has grown so much. Brilliant!

Lotus Belle Air Bud - 3m diameter, air beam, beautiful, quality, lotus bud shaped ‘bell’ tent.The clear yet personable email order confirmation immediately instills confidence that Hari (the owner & designer of Lotus Belle tents) is going to do what she says she’s going to do.Sure enough my Air Bud and accessories turned up exactly as promised. It was more beautiful than I hoped for. Even the wheeled carry case is both lovely and practical.The instructions were clear and easy to follow. It quite literally took me 5 minutes to pump up the tent to full height and another 15 minutes to peg out the guy ropes & put up the porch. I’m 5ft 2” and not particularly strong but it was a stress-free delight. The bag with all the gear in would be a bit heavy for me if on my own, but easily solved by putting the heavy rubber mallet, air pump and chunky pegs in a separate bag to distribute the weight, so not really a problem.The clever design provides excellent head height and the bulbous sides means just a 3m diameter feels enormous. You can comfortably fit 3 decent sleeping mats (60cm wide) and still have space for bags.Great practical features include a mesh inner door, zip down windows covers, mesh inner windows that unzip to fully open for great air flow, a low air vent at the back of the tent incorporating a zipped cable entry point as well as a spacious porch.The poly-cotton has kept the tent cool during hot days and the cocoon-like feel inside has been cosy and warm at night.Rain just beads off the outside and the porch keeps the entrance nice and dry.The air beams even make decorating easy!It’s safe to say we love our beautiful, well thought through Air Bud and I would definitely recommend saving up, taking a leap of faith and getting one!Hopefully the pictures attached demonstrate how big it really is inside, the quality of the finish and some of the practical features.Finally added the roof cover after 10 days of “seasoning” the canvas. Looks lovely inside & out!

We ordered a Stargazer and we looove it !! We can already tell how good quality it is ! The set-up was simple thanks to the instructions.We could ask everything we needed by e-mail and we received it (in France) in 5 days !! Fabulous customer service and excellent fast delivery. Great first impressions of this company. Very helpful with lots of constructive advice, tailored to our particular glamping site in Devon.Will need to post another review for the tent itself, when it goes up for the 2023 season!

Absolutely in love with my Lotus Belles! I've had an Airbud and the 5m Stargazer - both have performed exceptionally well and are super spacious. The quality of the canvas is so clear, especially when feeling how thick it is. Love all the clever design features and simply how beautiful they look. Will definitely be adding to my Lotus Belle collection! Thank you Lotus Belle team for making my tent dreams come true :)

Just had two of the 5 m stargazers delivered. The quality is excellent and the totally live up to expectation. Hari and team were really helpful and gave useful advice. If my business expands again I will definitely go with lotus belle tents again.

Finally we have our own lotus belle tent! First time we put it up it took less than half an hour and the instructions were excellent. It's first outing was as wedding night accommodation for my sister in law and her newly wedded husband and it was perfect! Well made, really easy to put up, and the most beautiful space to stay in. Can't recommend them highly enough!
