Smylie Sectional Buildings

Unfortunately there is no zero rating! Contacted Smylie's with a view to getting driveway gates. Each time spoke to a lady who each time took my name, address and number who said someone would call out to price. 5 weeks later, after ringing every Monday, no-one bothered calling out. Two of my neighbours had the same experience - they ended up going elsewhere. I finally contacted Smylie's and asked if they really wanted the job and if they intended called out at all! They insisted they would be in touch and were very apologetic. Eight weeks later I went elsewhere. Incidentally - no one ever called out nor called me back! Stay clear - they're only interested in large sectional buildings.

We recently purchased a garden room from Smylies and what an absolute pleasure it has been to deal with such a professional and friendly company.The service provided by both Adrian and all the staff was outstanding from start to finish. A rare fine nowadays, with customer service lacking in many companies.Our intention for the structure was that it was to be primarily used as a home office. Adrian was very helpful throughout, ensuring he understood our requirements, and worked with us to ensure the room suited our needs perfectly. Nothing was too much trouble.The room was built within the lead times he had given us, all hands to the pump to ensure we encountered no delays and with a minimum of disturbance to us.All work was completed by them directly, from the ground work to the electrics. We had nothing to organise at all, which was just brilliant.We are absolutely delighted with the office, it looks fantastic. As a side note we also purchased a shed from Smylies 7 years ago, and it is still in perfect condition also.Overall, I highly recommend contacting Adrian and his team, I'm certainly glad that we did!

I am at a loss! Very pleasant conversation with an elderly lady with whom one would quite happily sit with and have a fireside chat. I then proceeded with email contact with son of elderly lady wherein the son asked various questions concerning the placement and structure of desired carport. I, of course, in my innocence, thanked him for his prompt response and replied to all his ernest questions, privately thinking we have evidence of a local keen builder who really wants to work and make a success of his business. But, forsooth no. I was painfully reminded of a Sicilian proverb when he failed to show on a Monday evening as promised - 'Every promise is a debt and is owed, blessed is he who keeps his word'. While I wouldn't go so far as to say 'he sleeps with the fishes' , all I can say is 'heavens, I miss Polish builders'.

Excellent service - Adrian came within hours when I called to say there was an issue with the gate that was caused by a gust of wind. No charge as was covered by warranty.

Got a summerhouse and paid several hundred pounds extra for a lovely burnt umber coloured slated roof which has now lost all of its stain in just a year.
