Brightwater Farm Campsite

Booked for a week and stayed two in this delightfuly peaceful tucked away hidden gem.Ant, the owner was extremely kindwelcoming and helpful. He came to our rescue when we needed assistance in moving our caravan. The Facilities are very clean.The little bar on Friday and Saturday nights is great and only a few steps from campsite. Its used by some locals who made us very welcome.The site is relaxed and informal.Will certainly visit again.

Had a lovely stay. Great pitch which was private and spacious. Ant greeted us and assisted with access and egress. Combined shower and toilet always clean, excellent hot shower. Bar available or take out on request. Dog walk nearby and a good base for exploring this wonderful part of Devon. Great WiFi access and TV reception. Really pleased we found this campsite, would certainly recommend ☺️

Stayed for one night - cycling from Lands End - fabulous secluded spot with running stream. Owner was friendly - hooked us up with free electricity for phones - option to purchase cider and beers - unfortunately missed out on the Friday/ Saturday bar - good clean facilities - would visit again

Very good welcome from Ant. Quiet campsite with individual grass and hardstanding pitches on a hillside. Pitches were level. Good shower and WC. Wi-Fi great as was Tv reception. Mobile O2 reception was v poor.

We enjoyed our stay, we were the only campervan on site and there were no tenters, it was low season (November). Manager/owner was helpful. In high season I wonder if the one set of facilities would be able to cope, but we never use our campervan in high season. We could well return but it would be very much out of season.

What a beautiful place! Approximately 25 minutes from Widemouth Bay but far enough for your own peaceful and uninterrupted camping experience. Ant and family are extremely helpful and very welcoming. Their small microbrewery is about 30 steps from the campsite, great beer! If you like dark skies with plenty of stars, when clouds aren't in the way (no campsite can stop that) then this is your place. It is not taken over by huge amenities, soft play areas, and swimming pools, thats what the sea is for, in my humble opinion, and how we used to camp when I was younger. Instead, small neat amenities, consisting of a shower, a toilet and a wash basin (all nice and clean) are contained in one dedicated block), and again the owner is only too willing to help with any other requirements you need. Numbers are kept low, so be sure to get in early with your booking. We will certainly be going back again!

Stayed for a week in late October 2018. This is a lovely quiet campsite. The owner was very friendly and helpful (helping us set up as we are new to caravaning) . Toilet and shower facility was warm, new and immaculate, with plenty of hot water. Both toilet and shower are in one unit, but this was fine as the site was quiet.

A beautiful secluded site. The owner was friendly and welcoming, as we're the local community that we met during an event in the site pub (open Friday and Saturday evenings). A great place from which to explore the area. Peaceful, friendly and welcoming. Only one toilet and shower unit, but always clean, and as numbers to the site are limited this wasn't an issue at any point across our 7 night stay. Would definitely recommend and we intend to return again.

We stayed here for a couple of days. It has been to us one of the most beautiful places to stay. It is placed in the middle of the nature and you can really enjoy your day. The owner are very friendly and helpful. It has been a very personal atmosphere. We loved it and will come back for sure.

We really enjoyed our stay..The owner was really most helpful and we had a choice of available pitches.Very quiet and secluded..Toilet and shower facility was 1st class. Would recommend to anyone
