Exeter Racecourse Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite

Great place for a quiet caravan site, can be windy but great for walking around racecourse with dogs

Great location and well kept flat pitches. Poorly designed new loo emptying facility very surprising for a club site. Shower and loo’s beautifully clean but in need of refurbishment. There is a BP Pulse rapid charger at the races car park which is a relief if you have a plug in Hybrid as the clubs £9 flat charge to charge on site is unbelievably unfair to PHEV drivers. Would I go back ? Probably not.

Generally good place for camping. 2 sites therev: one close to showers etc and another one in the little grass/ trees area where is no toilet unfortunately!!! That's why I wouldn't visit the place once again untill they improve this . I'm not expecting showers, even little portable toilet would be beneficial there.

We stayed at this very lovely, peaceful & relaxing site for 4 nights. The pitches are well spread out, with plenty of privacy, there are some lovely walks, lots for doggies too.The facilities are kept spotless by Jane & Bryan, who were very informative & helpful.We would definitely return to this site.Kate & Bob Mills

Stopped off for one night en route to Cornwall. Excellent site and facilities with great walks around the racecourse. Wardens were friendly and very helpful. General site cleanliness was excellent. I would highly recommend this site.

Lovely site. Ideal for stop overs on your way to Cornwall. Facilities lovely and clean. Staff so helpful and friendly. Site is a bit exposed as it’s on the top of a hill so can get windy. Ideal location to travel to lots of Devon’s attractions too. We stopped there for a week and will be back.This time we have pitched in the wooded area which is less exposed to the wind. It’s a trek to the facilities if you need to use them. We’ve also found the entrance to the woods opposite the main dog walk which is great for walking the dog further.If you are in a motorhome there is a Londis, Greggs, Costa & McDonalds in walking distance, about half a mile away.

On arrival we were told that there was no electricity, it went off at 10am that morning. Lovely site overlooking the race course. Showers could do with being updated. Security is good. Most pitches are flat, with some hardstanding. Stopped for a few days.

Lovely site just outside Exeter. At the race track, very easy to access in a brilliant location.Quiet and peaceful despite being close to the main road with fantastic views and walks behind the camp.

Good clean facilities, lovely warm high pressure showers. Odd pitch designation markers but apparently it’s to stop fire spreading. Right in the middle of the racecourse too good views all round

Great site, next to the race course. We used it as a stop over on way to st Austell. Easy to get to, reception lady was really helpful. Facilities spotless. Plenty of pitches and services next door for breakfast before getting on our way.
