Riverside SEAT Hull
Bought a car late 2022 and loved the car. Taken back to Riverside Hull for 2 warranty fixes and a software update. One warranty fix being a rattling glovebox. Upon collecting the vehicle I was told the glovebox was not touched and a new one was on order (June 3rd 2023). Once inside the vehicle it was clear the glove box had been worked on and was not fitting flush with the trim surrounding it. Looking at it more closely, an internal part had been removed from the glovebox which was now causing the rattle to be worse (picture below), and even causes the glove box to open on its own whilst driving, we have now resulted to using duck tape to keep the glovebox shut. I contacted the manager about this and was contacted by the service team to be told that the part was missing upon arrival and that nothing was done to the glove box and was made out to be a liar about my issue. Fast forward almost 2 months and I called for an update on the part and was told we don’t know when it is arriving but we will chase and get back to you in 24hrs, 3 weeks after this I called to ask about the update and no apology was given about not calling back and was then told the part would definitely be in and fitted by end of August. I called on 27th August to ask about this and was told it’s still in the same status as it was in July and we are unsure when this will be in. I asked to visit and speak with the chief mechanic who told me he did not touch it, and then went on to say “well, if I did remove it I didn’t do it knowingly”. I’ve now had to speak with citizens advice around rejecting my car as I’m getting nowhere with the garage and they are yet to apologise for the work carried out. Garage has also admitted to not wanting to take the part from another vehicle to speed up the fix. Really disappointed with the build quality of the vehicle and the aftercare that Cupra/Riverside provide. letter was sent 5 days ago and I have received no correspondence from the dealer.

The handover was very in depth and he set everything up for me and explained how everything worked on the car. The most detailed and informative handover I have had when buying a car. I was looking for a new car and came across one here at Riverside, came initially to test drive and was greeted with polite staff who you could tell would go above and beyond for any customer.After deciding it was the car for me, Jason Alsop went above and beyond to make the process as easy and stress free as possible leaving me only with excitement to get my new car, I can not fault my experience at all as Jason was 10/10 throughout the whole process. He made sure every question was answered, explained everything to me in depth and ensured he was available if I needed any further help. On the day of my handover, everything had been done for me and Jason even went as far as showing me how to use the voice function on my car and talked me through setting everything up.The whole process for me was 10/10, and I knew I was in safe hands with Jason. I will definitely be recommending Riverside to my friends and family, and will know where to go in the future if me or my partner ever needed a new car! Thank you again Jason for being so great!

Fantastic experience at Riverside. Danny was very polite, professional and listened exactly to our needs. Only showed us cars which met our needs and price budget with no pressure to buy.Great test drive experience, relaxed even with our 2 year old in tow and answered all our questions honestly. Danny is very approachable, friendly and down to earth which made the car buying experience much more enjoyable.Found our perfect family car in one visit. Danny went above and beyond sorting out the extra tinted windows which were requested, getting the perfect tint shade. He is a credit to Riverside SEAT hull.

Was looking for a new runabout for wife and saw an immaculate and very well-priced new model Seat Leon 150 FR so arranged 3 hour drive down to meet Jonathan and the car.Car was ready, clean and immaculate, discussed deal and came back 3 weeks later on train to pick up and Jon met me at station and drove me to centre.Had a great experience and not one issue in buying the car and dealing with Jon was a pleasure.Well recommendedWould recommend Jon and Riverside Seat.
