Prostar Windows & Doors

Very pleased with Pro Star Windows. Not a chore. I've had really poor experiences with a couple of other local window companies and was expecting the same pressured sales pitch. I knew what I wanted. Chap came, asked a few questions and gave me a quote right there and then. The best bit is that they didn't badger me over the next few days. I happily gave them the job. A pleasure to do business with. I got exactly what I wanted. Thanks

WARNING this company issues fraudulent documents and state they are members of several reputable building regulation bodies. Their supposed 10yr guarantee is not worth the paper it’s written on. When I contacted the underwriters, Plastics Window Federation they told me that Prostar Windows and Doors have not been members since 2002 and are therefore committing fraud by issuing fake guarantee certificates.I have tried to contact Prostar Windows on numerous occasions by telephone and recorded delivery letters about outstanding problems and they completely ignore the complaints. That's when I learnt they were in fact committing fraud by issuing fake documents.If you have windows, doors or conservatories installed by this company, check the paperwork very carefully and inform Trading Standards,, Plastics Window Federation and the Police if there are any irregularities.Remember you need the FENSA certificate to comply with local building regulations. Don’t trust this company to issue you with any compliance certificates as they only deal in fakes.DO NOT USE this company under any circumstances.Don’t take my word for it, have a look at the other negative reviews and you will see for yourself. AVOID at all cost.

Had our windows and doors done from this company at our pub on Middleton road, gorleston. Great service, great workers, reliable, good value for money can’t complain at all!! Would highly recommend!

Ordered our windows in early July 2019 including a real feature stained glass window and was told 5 weeks maximum until completion. The job was finally completed in October 2019 apart from the stained glass window. Prostar told us this would be ready and installed in a couple of days but still we are without our final window. It is now July 2020 and They still have not bothered to get in contact with us at all of there own backs and they don’t answer calls or texts either. They also have not handed over any paperwork to comply with building regs at all. They took payment for the windows installed and just left us with a windowless frame last October. Prostar have ripped us right off. Take note of the other bad reviews as they are completely true about this company. Stay well away.

I've been contacting Geoff about our bedroom window one glass is blown. Phoned the company and texted Geoff on numerous occasions and I was told once they got the glass but don't know where it is.this was back February and still waiting not very good at all

Awful company to deal with. They did not provide the Certass certificate to show compliance with building regs. I contacted Certass directly on 6 occasions, they contacted Prostar directly and they still didn't provide certificate. Certass said they were powerless to act further. Prostar didn't return any phone calls or reply to correspondence either email or letter. When I did manage to speak to them on the phone they were rude and abusive. I would certainly never use this company again and would not recommend

10 weeks from ordering to completion.Done a brilliant job of fitting all 10 windows and removing old ones within a day an a half.Nice polite, tidy and considerate workmen.Only reason for no 5th star was due to being given a 4-6 week estimate initially.But now very happy with the end resultThank you

Very good from start to finish, really pleased with patio doors and windows fitted, will be having them back for new front door. definitely recommend.

Had 7 windows changed along with front and back door with no problems and a freindly team of window fitters who were very professional and the end product was amazing. Would highly recommend Prostar windows and doors to anyone

Had extention windows replaced, good bunch of guys fitted them, took their time and didnt throw then in.. Very pleased. Wasn't the cheapest quote however the workmanship was second to non, glad I paid a little extra!! I've paid peanuts in the past and defiinately got monkeys! Very satisfied indeed!
