I was on 5 days business visit so hardly stayed at hotel. Nice location close to city centre and quick access to beach. Little noisy at night due to location and lots of bar, pub and lounges to eat and drink. Can't complain!

Lovely, comfortable room, friendly staff who were very helpful, breakfast was great. My 10 year old son loved it and would like to go back!

Estayed in Prince Williams room. Beautiful room. Could do with a bit of extra dusting, but still very good. Mirrored furniture added to the extra luxury. Ironing boards, a hair dryer, and a little fridge were a bonus. Minutes from the beach, pubs and clubs

Beautiful Hotel,Room very clean, and warm.2nd stay here! Both rooms that I have stayed in, the bed needed new mattresses.Could do with a whole new bed, divan very old and worn.Shower excellent.I stayed in Room 3, single room, good view.Breakfast:-Serve yourselfMulti choice of Cereal!jug of milk next to cereal, that was warm .serve yourself cooked breakfast, that was pre cooked on hot plates.I found food to be Luke warm. There is choice of Continental breakfast. You are offered toast when you arrive, so it is served whilst you are still eating cereal. So cold toast by the time you get your cooked breakfast. To be honest, I don't rate the breakfast .Free car parking.Location is perfect, town centre on doorstep, and the beach is also on doorstep

We chose this hotel because of the sea view. It is situated on the sea front in the centre of town. The room was warm with plenty of hot water. The staff were very friendly and helpful. On the downside the room was a little tired and dated and could do with a makeover. Also the restaurant was closed and we had to eat in the bar.

Nice big room in a central location overlooking the sea and the Pier, only a few minutes walk from the shops . Large free car park for the duration of our stay. On the first of the two nights the breakfast offering was poor. They seemed to have run out of a lot of things. But maybe that was because we arrived with only 30 minutes of breakfast service remaining. Breakfast on the second day was much better, as we arrived about an hour earlier.

Without question the most horrendous hotel stay I have experienced in many years. I regularly stay in hotels for both leisure and business and never have I had to endure such an appalling bed ever. You could literally feel the metal springs coming through the mattress on what was clearly a very old, very cheap and simply broken mattress with severely broken springs on both sides of the bed.We tried to report this on the evening but there was no night staff anywhere in sight despite ringing the bell on the front desk several times.I find it unfathomable they are charging £130 to sleep (or not sleep as was the case) on a broken mattress of that appalling quality. On reporting this on Sunday morning and requesting a refund for my stay, the member of staff literally laughed at me. When I questioned what exactly was so funny about this matter, she did slightly change her tune, apologised and made a note of my issue along with giving me the details of the managing director’sMr Nick Greaves and Mr Shaun Potter.I emailed them on return home regarding this unfortunate experience, as we had both had a hugely uncomfortable night and never slept a wink all night. We left first thing in the morning at the earliest opportunity to check out and go and have breakfast elsewhere despite it being included. To add insult to injury so far neither director has bothered to respond to my email, despite one call to confirm receipt of my email and a second to express my further disappointment that a week later they still haven’t been bothered to respond.I believe in supporting independent local businesses, but quite frankly the stay was utterly awful and I wish I had stayed elsewhere.

The Royal Hotel is a quality hotel and the staff are friendly and helpful. This was my first visit to the Royal, Weston and it will not be my last. However, I will be asking for a room at the rear of the hotel in future (facing the sea). Unfortunately, the noise from a venue that operates on the road facing the front of the hotel is unreasonable, uncontrolled, and excessive. It was not possible to get to sleep early. For the two nights I stayed, the loud noises, girl’s screams and loud singing emanating from the street lasted until the early hours of the morning. I cannot understand why the local Council allows any business to serve alcohol at tables on the public street in front of their premises until two every morning. This must be affecting the trade of the hotels and other restaurants close by. I had for example, planned to visit a highly rated restaurant next to this ‘club’ but the noise and rowdy behaviour caused me to think again and find another eatery. I have since learned that the local police want this place to cease trading due to blatant drug use on the premises". Shame on you North Somerset Council

Fabulous old hotel right in the centre of town and free parking too which is a massive bonus in WSM. Breakfast was first class with great coffee and buffet fry up. Rooms and bathrooms were great. Highly recommended.

The Royal Hotel is conveniently located just minutes from the beach and is an ideal venue for non hotel guests to get a drink or light meal from its excellent bars. There is also an large garden area with bench seating if you wish to purchase a drink from the bar and sit outdoors. Well worth a visit and good value for money.
