I would like to say a big thank you to To Tom Bird for a first class customer service . I ordered a line and reel through the Fishstore site and rang the lodge to say I would pick it up but Tom said they didn’t have them at Draycote and that Lloyd would sort it out at Eyebrooke,. Lloyd rang me and said he lived near me and would deliver it himself, not only that but he made up the line and reel together for me which I was delighted with. Thank you to you both for a first class service and going beyond the norm. Walter

Two and a half miles around the whole area. Either use the road or track and enjoy being free from the stress of covid. Theres runners, walkers, cyclists mums with buggies and all ages.

Wonderful day trout fishing, the weather changed during the day but was still very enjoyable. The boats were clean and tidy, the engine ran and started faultlessly all day. The staff maintained social distancing at all times whilst remaining friendly and informative, fully recommend.

A lovely walk around the reservoir. Even in lockdown, the cafe is open for take away teas, coffees and snacks. The chocolate brownie was a particular high point.The walk is great for small children on bikes but if I were a serious runner or cyclist, I would feel as if there were too many people around.Severn Trent also charge £5 for parking if you stay longer than 2 hours. £3 If you stay for less. Enjoy.

Beautiful place ❤️ big playground for kids. Lovely path to walk around the lake, a cafe with a great variety of food and beverages. And DUCKS!! Great place to visit with kids.

An excellent days coaching on the beginners fly fishing day course. Tom & Jim were fantastic hosts & instructors from start to finish. Coffee on arrival, friendly chat, excellent sharing of knowledge. Short very useful classroom start before a practical casting session, then fish play before lunch. After lunch we fished, a nice couple caught & a tasty fish to boot. Overall can't rate them highly enough. Day was fun, relaxed, well organised & the sun came out too.

First time to Draycote Water, as a keen birdwatcher I found it a great place to visit, good paths and a fairly flat walk, round trip took me three hours at a very slow ramble!!!
