I feel the cleanliness both inside and, more so, outside the Carlisle shop has deteriorated. On a recent visit there were three dog poos outside the entrance area (two loose and one in a poo bag). Upon flagging it to a member of staff behind the till, it transpired that I wasn't the first person to have mentioned it! Also, I don't like the live bait area and feel saddened to see it being housed/sold in such inadequate confined packaging.

Jodie in the Carlisle branch... Absoloute angel. Super helpful, bubbly and made our experience so fun and informative. We bought fish tank supplies yesterday and she was so helpful and we left with a smile. Returned to our local branch to get our fish today and explained we have already been given advice by another member at another branch and they commented on how well jodie had explained everything to us. Cheers jodie, you really made our wee boys experience so much more fun (and helped us clueless parents)

Great range of stock and the staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. It is a bit pricier than if you shopped around, but always good quality.

Unbelievable service here. The entire staff are friendly. It's always a pleasure to come here for your needs. I would say though we came for medical purposes a few times and we're misinformed ect but no-one knows everything. They do try there best. Very expensive for dog treats ect, The Range has the same treats for 60% cheaper and the exact same unfortunately. Fantastic range of raw dog foods and products though, and they really are fairly priced IMO. Definitely a worthy place for pets.

Excellent service from Ellis in your store 7/8/23. I asked him for some advice regarding gerbils and adopting two that were in store. He went above and beyond to explain everything to me, from caring for them, right through to everything I needed for them.10/10 service. Thank you again Ellis

Great shop! Super friendly staff always happy to help! I take my 7 month old pup in regularly to help him socialise as he's very nervous, the staff always take time to give him some attention which is much appreciated!
