The Groom Room Swansea

Very rude sales assistant at the groomers over the top and terrible attitude concerning covid restrictions, I work in health care so I understand about putting in place guidance but I was treated so rudely, little bit if power went 2 her head lol and thought she was justified in bossing about customers after I protested to her attitude she then said do u want your dogs nail cut or what, i stated actually no i then walked out in disgust, i spoke to manager he didn't seem 2 care what a joke of a shop. Also 10 pound for my dogs toe nails to b cut is way over the top 5 pounds would b reasonable may b re look at the over charging.

I took my 3 year old bouncing playful cavashon to the groom room and a collected a very sad and depressed dog. I could not work out what was wrong with him, he was nervy, skittish and unsettled. He was super needy and didn’t want to go on walkies or play or do anything.I took him to the vet and he was diagnosed with a luxating patella (dislocated knee). This is not uncommon in small breeds but he must have winced at the time and the staff didn’t tell me. He was on pain relief for 1 week and it took him 10 days in total before his personality started to come back.He was also shaved very close around his groin which I could tell was very uncomfortable for him.Suffice to say that I will never be taking him back there. It really is heartbreaking to see your pets character change through pain and discomfort without being able to help them. If I could give negative stars I would!

They were honest and sincere. They didn't take my money they informed me my dogs nails didn't need cutting. They could have still charged me as I did have an appointment.

First time using The Groom Room at Swansea and we will definitely be back. Our 5yr old, Old Tyme Bulldog can be wary on times but went in and didnt look back ! He came out smelling and looking fantastic, he had the full works and his nails were cut much shorter than other groomers have cut in the past and this is a massive plus for us and him as they grow so quickly. The groomer was friendly and polite and gave lots of attention to our dog before and after his appointment which he of course lapped up !! Many thanks

Did a great job on my little cocker spaniel. Apparently she squeaked the entire time....however she came out quite calm! She looks sweet and the staff are polite and friendly! :)

My British bulldog puppy is 9 months I had a 50% off code for his full groom which would have cost £37 they charged for a shorter haired large dog ?? He barely comes half way up my calves !! How much they’d charge for a fully grown Rottweiler I don’t know !!If I wanted extras such as a blueberry facial I had to pay! Previously taken him locally where he spent 2 hours double the time for £30 and this was included he smelt lovely for over a week and shedded no hair for weeks either he was down Friday and already smelling and shedding hair ??Only used due to the voucher wouldn’t use again only plus was his nails are shorter than they have been previously.

Would give zero stars if possible. Absolutely appalling customer service, rude and unhelpful staff. Accused us of ignoring and deleting messages regarding appointment cancellation, despite us not receiving any contact whatsoever. Refusing to give us a new appointment when incompetence was challenged. Very stressed dogs and very stressed/upset owners.

First impressions count. We arrived for our appointment and the first thing said to us was that we were an hour late (we were not) Mind made up from then. The half price puppy groom wasn’t worth it
