First time here and very impressive. Our son lives in Glasgow, so we usually visit Swadesh restaurant in that city, which is very highly rated. Namaste compares VERY favourably with that experience. Well done, Namaste, it's great to have such a great restaurant in Ballyclare!

We had a bizarre experience here - we'd looked at their website before going for a sit-in meal, which listed Dopiaza as an available meal. It wasn't on the menu in the restaurant and when my wife asked if she could have it, she was told No

As there are limited food places in ballyclare and limited places that are actually nice, this tops the charts for my house. We religiously get from Namaste and every time we do we are never disappointed the food is amazing, full of flavour and always fills us up.

Beautiful food and the staff serving us were chatty and friendly and attentive. Lovely new premises with really lovely lighting and such lovely decor. Definitely recommend.6 of us ate, sharing platter to start, 4 mains, 2 naans, 2 rice, 2 chips (masala chips are so good) and there was plenty left over. 20 quid a head!

One of the best Indian restaurants my family have been to, great food, lovely atmosphere and great service. Will definitely be back when we are next in Ballyclare.

I had previously posted a 1 star comment due to some issues with my order. I am happy to now change that as my meal was replaced for free the next time I ordered (I ordered 2 meals this time and got 50% off so they replaced the order that had problems the week before). The food was great and my compliments to the chef (even if I did order a garlic Nan and was given a plain one). The reason my review is not 5/5 is because the manager of this restaurant has an attitude problem, he raised his voice to me on the phone which is not acceptable in my opinion, this was when I explained I was not happy with his offer of a few free popadoms and told him what I would be happy with (basically the meal I paid for a week before replaced - due to problems with that order and previous orders) when I mentioned I have worked in customer service for many years and this is not how to handle this situation I got a response of… oh so you know better than me… In a cheeky way! On top of that, when I arrived at the restaurant he had the cheek to ask me what my experience was in customer service… I found this rude and inappropriate considering I had just drove from larne to give the restaurant the chance to resolve this issue. I did not get his name, I did ask for it but that was not forthcoming either time I requested it. Just to clarify I have been in customer service for over 10 years, 8 of which in management roles, having teams of 15-20 people work for me dealing with complaints about broadband and software issues, maybe I should have brought him my CV? I appreciate the problem was resolved, but this is because I stood my ground - not because it was handled the way it should have been and this managers attitude needs some work. It’s a shame really as I always enjoyed the curries outside of items being missing or the Nan being burnt on occasions, but after that experience and taking a few days to think about how I should share this experience… I doubt we will be going back anytime soon! The girls who work in the place are fantastic, never had a bad thing to say about them and the chefs do a great job with the curries, but being spoke to in an angry way on the phone, then being questioned about my customer service experience was unacceptable.
