I went the other day with my mates, got the teriyaki chicken house bowl and he got a Korean bbq chicken bao bun.For almost £10 the bowl was not worth it, the pineapple did not taste fresh it had a weird texture and flavour, the rice was very sour also the portion is mainly just rice so the price for a bowl does not make sense. The Bao was actually nice just still quite expensive and a small portion. The person who served us was nice, she was very helpful and cheerful so props to that. The music playing is way too loud, it makes it hard to order and the workers seems to struggle in the high noise environment. Personally I don’t recommend especially since it’s so pricey but maybe you’ll enjoy it? (Also selling peanuts as an option sucks as my other mate wasn’t able to order anything due to his peanut allergy which is a very common one)

Kudos for bringing Poke bowls to Brighton! I ordered the Miso Aubergine Bao as I wasn't that hungry. It was OK, but nothing special. Sauce was spread everywhere, so very messy.Great location with views onto the high street.I will try the actual Poke bowl next time and update this review accordingly.

I went last Tuesday evening, it was pretty quiet and the two friendly servers were very helpful with catering to my dietary requirements, the younger one had memorised most of the allergens even though its only been a few months!I found the ordering process a bit difficult because the screen changes too quickly for you to read the options. They are card only, there is a sign by the till but it's practically transparent. The food was good and although the bowl is a fair size I wouldn't say it was very filling, so not great value for money to me but i did like it so would come to try other things

Came here for takeaway using a 50% off voucher after signing up for the newsletter. Ordered a California Salmon bowl - loved the choice to have brown rice for a healthier option. The service was very quick and friendly. I’m a big fan of poké and I’m so glad there is a takeaway place now in Brighton. My food was delicious. Very flavourful and fresh. Can’t wait to go back!

We chose leaf base bowls and were happy with our very healthy choice. However a bit pricey for the quantity of the salmon or tuna sashimi.

Island Poke Brighton offered a fantastic experience with warm and helpful service. The staff was incredibly accommodating, adjusting the menu to suit a dairy allergy. Their thoughtful approach reflected a genuine concern for customer well-being. I appreciate their understanding and the tasty, safe choices provided. A place that genuinely cares about its customers.

Overall I had a good experience, however you need to know that there is a price difference for eat in and take away. Plenty of choices, however I could use a printed menu as I struggled to look up at the digital one. The staff were friendly, however I think they would benefit from getting our order and then start preparing our bowls. From the toppings, I only wanted edamame, mango and wakame, and because they started preparing my bowl as I was talking, in the end my bowl had so much wakame (the last ingredient I mentioned)! It was Friday mid-day, and the store wasn't busy at all. Good quality ingredients (however the rice was a bit hard and quite cold).

Stopped off here for a quick lunch. I had a voucher for 50% off for signing up to their newsletters and so that was an added bonus. I shared the veggie house bowls (teriyaki tofu & miso aubergine) and honestly I love the idea, how colourful it is and how healthy but It wasn't the flavour I was looking for. I do like the different toppings options but being cold it wasn't for me. The hot food options do look good though as well as the bao so maybe I just choose the wrong things. The staff here are lovely and friendly but the music was very loud for a small little restaurant.

Ordered a set for two from this new poke place. The portion was really generous, and I like the base option of mixing rice and greens. The vinegar was a bit overempowering. If you could tune down the sourness of the rice a bit, the original flavour of other ingredients would pop out more. Thumbs up to the chargrilled corn!Another reco is to offer a pick up option from Deliveroo / other delivery apps. There are lots of residential flats nearby and pickup is convenient.Overall the food is value for money. Recommended!
