Posting on behalf of one of our one of Service User's Sister who sent us an emailREVIEW : TRUST COMMUNITY CARE : FROM KARENOn discharge from hospital at the end of March 2023, my brother needed urgently to have a full care package of 4 x visits per day to support him living at home following a fairly sudden decline in his Parkinson's condition. The local authority was unable to provide the required timetabled care to administer medication at the necessary times in the day and night and so the care need was transferred to the agency Trust Community Care.The Trust team who provided my brother’s care – and led by the managers Simon and Linah – could not have been more kind and caring; always taking into consideration my brother’s wishes whilst supporting him as best they possibly could. He could not have lived at home for as many months as he did without the caring hearts and hard-working hands of the Trust team. I will always hold them in high esteem and have enormous gratitude for all of them and the work that they do – often going beyond the call of duty, extending time to provide extra support when brother was especially vulnerable.  Circumstances have changed; brother requires more extensive care; and I am so sorry to lose the Trust care support which I know my brother, too, so valued and trusted.   The work you all do is invaluable and probably is so ‘behind the scenes’ that people won’t realise just how much you do on a daily basis with long and tiring hours, but without complaint.  Thank you enormously to each and every one on the team.
