Gary is superb. I don’t have a contract with Ryther Alarms but Gary was able to assist me with a fault on my alarm over the phone. Quick response, great information and really kind and helpful. I know exactly where to come when I do need a service or further help. Highly recommend

Ant and Shane came last week to install me one of their quality sets of CCTV cameras with recording hard drive and other equipment.Originally contacted them to discuss my businesses needs, the cctv system and its capabilities. This fitted in with what exactly what i needed to monitor my work vehicle and storage areas. Agreed a date to go ahead and install.Both arrived prompt as agreed. Shown the equipment. Discussed areas to be monitored and sought their advice on maximising coverage.All professionally equipment was professionally installed and also linked to my mobile phone. Very happy with the entire service, punctuality, knowledge of their product and importantly the overall cost to my business. Would I recommend them to anyone else, definitely. An excellent, efficient and friendly service from Shane of Ryther Alarms. Some modifications to our system were required at very short notice prior to building work. Shane arrived on the day I contacted Ryther and sorted it quickly. He subsequently, reinstated the system after the building work was complete.Very happy and very satisfied with all aspects of the job.

Less than a month into moving into a new flat, had issues with the alarm at a late hour. Shane came to help us, arrived quickly considering the time and was friendly, helpful and efficient. Would definitely recommend! Thanks :)

I contacted Ryther alarms after issues with my existing system. I’d read positive reviews and they didn’t disappoint- from the lovely lady who answered the phone to Shane who came and fixed all my issues (there were several!) I couldn’t have had a more positive experience.Shane arrived on time, was friendly, polite, professional and thorough. Everything was fixed and tested. Excellent service from the quote (the explanation and planning of the system was much better than the other companies we got quotes from) to installation. Aftercare has been great - instant adjustment of sensitivity of the sensors and tweaking issues so the alarm works for us. Would definitely recommend

Had a problem with an existing alarm system and cctv (Not installed by Ryther). Rang a couple of companies that weren't interested. Thank goodness for Ryther. Shane came from Ryther and rectified the alarm problems, there were several!!.CCTV recorder would not work. Ordered a new one and came back after a few days, fit it, set it up on our phones. Shane was really helpful and extremely efficient.Top marks to Ryther. Would highly recommend.Thank you so much

Had our first callout experience since the alarm was installed almost a year ago. Appointment could have been on the day I raised the issue but we couldn’t accommodate so it was moved to next working day so great response. Shane who called was amazing, diagnosed the issue and also answered a few more questions too. Super attitude.

We recently purchased a house in York and the previous owner did not leave the manual on how to use the alarm. I contacted Ryther Alarms and Gary kindly took the time to explain how the alarm system worked and where I could download the manual from as it is quite an old alarm. He then booked an engineer to come out and test the alarm and replace the battery at a time that was convenient for me.Shane Smith arrived promptly at the time he was booked in for and was such a lovely, pleasant guy to deal with. He took the time to explain how to use the alarm (we were a bit slow on the uptake as we have never had an alarm before), and then recoded, changed the battery and tested the alarm.I would highly recommend Ryther Alarms to family and friends. The experience dealing with the guys from beginning to end was excellent and there were no pushy sales pitches either.

After quotes from four companies, national and local, we chose Ryther to supply, fit and maintain our alarm system. Their sales technique was informative but not pushy. No forcing into signing that day, or offering what might seem like huge discounts, just a great system honestly sold by Gary to fit OUR requirements to our timescale. Since fitting, Antony was brilliant, which was smooth and spotless, we have had the most fantastic support from all the members of staff, especially Jessica in the office, who have all gone the extra mile to deal with our questions after we’ve done something silly or the app has been updated. I would heartily recommend Ryther to anyone looking to fit or update an intruder/fire alarm system.
