Fantastic horses.Great stables. Absolutely lovely people and amazing coaches/teachers.Would not change a single thing . Professional but still relaxed and they really want you to learn but want force you to do and anything you dont feel comfortable with but will still push you to be the best you can. Love them.

I ride here and it is simply amazing - friendly staff and volunteers, tidy yard, exceptional schools and the horses are absolutely phenominal. The best yard you could wish for!

This is a busy and friendly yard. The staff and yard hands are all friendly and even with their busy schedule they always seem.to have brief moment to share info about the animals. There are lots of different ponies and horses too which all seem to enjoy a fuss. Great yard. Love their open day too!

I used to work, for a period of six month I think it was. This during the year 1998/1999. If I remember it correctly Ruth took over the center and slightly changed the name. It was for the better, for both horses and staff. I gave vivid memories chasing one of the ponies by the name of Megan. A chestnut pony with the form af a barrel with short legs. She was always running away like a Houdini version of a horse. And another one of the horses, Puzzle, black and white with a great moustasch and the longest bottom lip.And Chester, the friendly chestnut.I guess they have past over to the ever green fields by now.But I do think of them fondly. It’s good to see it is still running with lots of top words for the center.Maybe one day I pop over to say hallo.Love from Sussie from Sweden.

A very expensive yard. Excellent facilities but you have to share them with the riding school. Limited turnout as fields are often closed as they don't want them trashed, so your horse ends up staying in or walking for an hour solid on the horse walker. You are not informed what day the farrier is coming or when your horse is being wormed or what they are using. Hard feed and turnout herds changed without discussion. Though full livery you will be charged in addition for washing off muddy legs, holding for vet/farrier etc often there are items added to your bill that you where not expecting or had not agreed to. Not a yard for the 'hands on owner' who wants to be involved and make decisions about the care of their horse.

I have been coming along to Runningwell EC for many years and absolutely love it. Horses, staff, instructors are all very lovely and good teaching methods are applied. Highly recommended, very friendly, well standardised classes.

I have been riding and evolved with Runningwell for many years now and i have found that the level of instruction and care of the horses is second to none. I have always found it to be a very professional and friendly yard and always willing to help in any situation.

Runningwell is a very well run riding stable. The horses all seem happy, clean and well cared for, instruction is varied, challenging (in a good way) and professional, they have both indoor and outdoor schools and they do a good cup of tea and bacon buttie in the café too. I would not hesitate to recommend Runningwell to others.

Children's Riding Morning Experience - Booked this as a gift for two 9 year olds, they loved it, we loved seeing them become more confident and happy with their ponies and they learned quite a lot in a morning including the 'fun' bit of cleaning a pony.TipsParents and Children - Wrap up warm if you go when cold as you sit in a big riding school on plastic chairs in a windy elevated platform in the Riding arena / School.Wear boots / wellysWear old coats / clothes as the children get down and dirty clearning 'poo' out of the ponies tail and coat (water, shampoo and sponges are all helpfully provided)Driving into the School the road is very pot-holled - not a road for a small car ideally. There is a cafe serving coffee / teas and snacksNearby restaurant (Le Benaix Bar & Brasserie) first rate and highly recommended after a cold morning riding / watching riding

Excellent riding school, lovely horses, competent instructors who cater for different level riders. I wanted to improve my jumping skills (over 1.4meter) and I learned so much.
