This practice were able to take me in for an emergency checkup with a problem tooth quickly and seem reasonably priced. I returned after the emergency checkup and booked I thought a full checkup but was told there was nothing wrong with my tooth and it was probably sinus, only the issue tooth was looked at. The dentist was very keen to hand over the decision making to me and seemed reluctant to pass judgement as to whether work would be beneficial. I went twice two weeks before going on holiday in the hope of resolving the problem. I have now had to visit a dentist abroad and been told root canal is needed. I think this dentist is trying to be accessible to new patients but sadly like many doesn't want to complete any work or simply doesn't have the time to devote to it.I have seen two dentists since and both were able to diagnose root canal treatment upon first look.

Missed only appointment in over 40 year's so phoned reception to explain and rearrange. When attending I was met by new dentist who refused to give non emergency treatment for three months and charged for missed appointment but said my new appointment shouldn't of been made and was an oversight. Wasted time off work and tooth fallen out. Fair enough I missed an appointment but they got me in for a non appointment?

Omg what can I say this dental practice amazing had to go for emergency treatment was seen in about 20 mins the receptionist so friendly and cheerful and Leanne the dentist was great I said I loved her lol so friendly and down to earth not like some that can be stuck up. Well impressed with this place I’m signing up. Well done for the team I have a bad phobia of the dentist and I felt so calm keep up the good work u r fab

I finally managed to get my daughter in to see this dentist having travelled a long way to get there as couldn’t get an NHS dentist for her anywhere near me I was also able to register my other daughter too and the dentist saw her on the same day. Definitely worth the travelling times as she was a really lovely and helpful dentist. Highly recommend.

Very sad to say that my regular dentist at this practice has recently retired. I've been a patient here for 25 years and previously found the staff kind and treatment excellent for myself and family.I had an annual checkup yesterday with the new practitioner, who was cheerful, but who was very rough when removing scale. I felt quite frightened by her style of treatment. She seemed oblivious to causing a patient distress and was impatient to finish her work.The practice seems to have changed in tone dramatically. You are now very much an object to be processed, as quickly as possible and shoved out the door. Woe betide you if you ask a question or fail to turn up with a form that nobody told you to bring.Hard to tell how much of this new regime is the NHS under pressure, or a practitioner who doesn't realise she's intimidating patients.*********UPDATE RESPONSE TO REPLY BELOW:I would like to point out that NHS dental practices are not allowed to ditch patients who dare to complain or raise a valid concern. Your response is very passive aggressive and inappropriate.I did raise my concern to the practitioner at the time and I was ignored.

Best dentist ever, always sorted out my problems and great advice given as well. Normally scared of going to a dentist but not here. The staff are amazing and take great care of you.

Used to be a great practice i used them for last 30 years. Believe old dentist has now left though. Unfortunately as i haven't been since covid they bumped me off the nhs list. Seems that not booking an appointment to let them clear the backlog was my downfall.. Obviously loyal customers mean nothing.

After a very bad experience with another dental practice quite a few years ago I avoided regular check ups and treatment. Eventually I realised that I had to see a Dentist as I had two very painful teeth. I made an appointment with this practice and was treated by (Miranda ?) James. She found that I needed one large filling, one small one and one extraction.The large filling was done on the first appointment and the smaller one plus the extraction a week later. So, what were my impressions ? Firstly, the staff were courteous, pleasant and helpful. Ms James and her dental nurse were superb, very pleasant with a nice sense of humour. The treatment ? Fantastic, I can say, in all honesty, that I never felt a thing. If you need a Dentist, even if you are one of those folks who are wary of them, this is the place to go. Well done to all at the Croft. BTW, I was an NHS patient.
